I had a fair few "esme" moments in Spirit Wolf... even a bit of a rant in my review. Was a bit put off by the boomerang the "native american" expert had in the boot of the car... um, come on guys, EVERYONE knows that's strictly Inuit, right?  Belly laugh Happy bounce

I thought boomerangs originated with the Australians. (g'day mate!)  Big smile  And Navajo Indians.
Well, lost the boomerang in the game (otherwise known as "will need to use something
    else later on")

Isn't that what Jake uses in "The Rescuers Down Under"? Or just his trusty rope?

    I want to visit Australia.

Never heard of anyone except Indigenous Australians using a boomerang, that was why it seemed so silly to me.

I love it here, but then I would, wouldn't I?  Big smile  Seriously, is a brilliant place, and a great place for a holiday.

As an Aussie,   you don't throw boomerangs out your window?     Belly laugh
I am just amazed that our character seems to know nothing about her amazing
amulet  (really,  she's in awe every single time we stick a new piece in it and
push those animal buttons.  "I knew this amulet was special!"   Really?  You
forgot the previous times we did this already??),   yet she (or me)  can toss
that boomerang like an   Inuit pro!!   Belly laugh
I really have to save up money to go visit Australia.   Its on my to-do list!

Ok....about this game I am playing.

Please explain how is it that Jesse can tell me to meet him on the other side of the bridge,
it will be the second teepee,  you can't miss  it,  he disappears, presumably to the other
side of the bridge where the teepee is past the second star to the right...yet the bridge is
BROKE.    I have to fix it.....after I catch some fish.    Stars

    Well,  forget about my previous advice about not sticking hands in leaf piles;
apparently its safe to do so now.
These games should make up my mind.   Huh?

The one thing I really like about this game is that I am being told how strong,  brave and
    wise I am.      Whoop whoop
Its nice to have my talents recognized.   flutter eyelashes

LOL!!! I thought boomerangs originated in Australia, too!!

luvtoread, you're cracking me up!!!  Belly laugh

I decided to wait until the July 4th sale, though it took a great amount of willpower not to click the buy button. Tech issues still running rampant with Fright, maybe the devs will have an update by then...or maybe not.
The next Hidden Expedition is due out this week.

Please BFG, may we have a BOGO sale this weekend?
    Pretty please?  flutter eyelashes

Can anybody remember what kind of a July 4th sale we had last year?  Hmm...

Still tech issues with Fright?   Huh?

I was gonna get that tomorrow (start of the month)... start a new punch card with it.  Maybe I'll hold off for a while though.   Hmm...

    Thank you, Genki!  We\'re Unworthy!

While I do appreciate ANY kind of a sale, I really like the BOGO sale or a half-price membership sale.
So, c'mon BF, you can do it!  Big smile

Frodo, yes, people are still having problems with Fright. BF is aware of the on/off voiceovers, but people are also having trouble in the bonus section. Oh, also complaints of extreme sluggishness.
I do want to get this game, but good grief, I think it needed some more testing before release.

They post that there is a new Build available that fixes the voice overs and replaces
the pictures in SG and Diary.
    But nothing about the sluggishness.
I hope there is a BOGO sale and the game is running fine. My short gaming wish list.

YES! I am in favour of a BOGO sale for 4th July/weekend as well! Does that make it unanimous? Should we send our instructions to Big Fish?  HA! HA!

Hmm...I never checked the diary or SG in the demo, darn!

Yes, an update was issued for the voiceovers & pics in diary and SG. No mention of black-screen issues either.
In the demo, I only had problems with the on/off voiceovers. Since the devs have released an update, I don't think they'll release another update. I'm going to take my chances & get the game this weekend. If it's a BOGO sale, I'll pair it up with Rapunzel.

Yes, JustTheFacts, we should put our request for a BOGO sale in writing. You write it up since you're so good with words & I'll sign it.  Laugh

I have to tell you...we had a dead snake in our yard!  barf At first, I thought it was a snake skin, then DH tells me it was not a skin, it was a snake...pretty good-sized one, too, from the looks of it. He couldn't tell what kind it was and all I'm thinking of is rattlesnake cause it's freaking me out!

I've been noticing all these spiders in the house. DH says, "Have you seen very many spiders outside our house?" (Evidently, spiders love vinyl siding) I told him, "No, they're all IN the house now!"

Remember Jim Stafford's song, "I Don't Like Spiders & Snakes"? So appropriate!

And to all those people who say, "We need a cold winter to kill all the bugs" (my sister is one), I say.......  pfft !! We had a very cold winter, WTH?

HA - I've already picked out my games for GOG's 2015 Summer Sale.  I have a list.  (So I don't accidentally leave stuff in my cart next year.)   sosad   Because that is such a  faceplant   thing to do.  It makes me  Tantrum  and my days feel like  raincloud
But it is cool I get to use emoticons I normally don't use, so there is that tiny consolation.  Sigh

Thank goodness for the little things!  I've picked out my BF BOGO games too ... I think.  Fright, obviously ... and there are a couple others to consider.  I only have the SEs of most of the MCF games - should I spring for the CEs?

Thanks, Genki, for fulfilling my emoticon wish.  I adore the little guys.  And after an exhausting day, they made me  Smile
