I really want to start a spooky game tomorrow for Halloween Fright Night . I have Lone Survivor, The Last Door, The Desolate Hope, Dear Esther, Black Mirror, and Scratches already loaded up on my machine, but I also have games like Betrayer, Amensia 1, Bioshock, BlackSoul, Dark Fall 1, Deadly Premonition, I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream, Sanitarium, Huntsman: The Orphanage, Montas, and Montague's Mount that I could download.

Any suggestions on which I should play?

EDIT:  Decided to go with Scratches the HAND   tonight, and Amnesia faint dead away   tomorrow.

Genki, I've only played Scratches and that was scary enough for me! Shock

Happy Halloween to all! vmp (I'm playing MOTW: Black Rose, so I'm Dracula-inspired)

No kids around our neighborhood, so I don't have to pass out candy. I get to eat it all!! Chocolate num
Not really, I don't even buy any! Well, not for Halloween.

Thank goodness, our trick-or-treat night was last night and not tonight. It's been cold and rainy all day today. We're supposed to get rain mixed with snow tomorrow. EEK!

I dread winter because I hate being cold. c-cold

dj--I am also still playing MOTW-BR.

I just had a D\\'oh! moment.   I have been so intent on making sure I didn't miss out on
the morphing objects in the HO's   (I know I missed 1)  that this last one I was on I had
a heck of a time finding the feather.    I was on it so long I got the 5 minute coffee break
    achievement.   coffee
That is when I realized I could just do the bubble pop instead.    Forgot that was even
    there.

I already bought the new Awakening game.    Glad there is a sale.   So,   I have
MOTW,  Awakening,     Evil Pumpkin,   and Dark Strokes: Legend of the Snow Kingdom,
9 Clues: The Ward,    Montague's  Mount,   Haunted  (I bought on sale awhile back
    from Gamehouse)  Scrabble   all dl/d.
No wonder I get my Roses,    Pumpkins,  Faeries and whatever other collectables all
    confused!!

genki--I played Amnesia about 3 years ago.    I loved it!!   That was about the
same time I really  started with the D  & E thread.
The one thing that is frustrating is how fast the "monster"  can move while your
character acts like he is running through tar!
Or making it easy on Monster by getting turned around and saving it from chasing
    you.  Laugh
Did you get the new Doors game yet?    I believe I still have it on my wishlist at
    Steam.

I'll wait for a good sale on Doorways 3 before I pick it up, but looking forward to playing it!

A friend gifted The Lost Crown to me last night, and since I was having trouble with Scratches and Amnesia and had to restart my computer, I'll be playing TLC before the others on my list Laugh

luvtoread, I'm trying to find all my collectibles in MOTW: BR. Does all hidden object scenes have a morphing object in them?
If so, then I might've missed a few and I was studying the screen intently trying to catch an item morphing.
I have found some pumpkins! Happy bounce I don't know about those "golden goblets" as I'm clicking on any goblet I see and not getting anything. It must be something in the bonus.

I see BFG had Awakening #Whatever as the TGT. I was so looking forward to Vampire Legends.

I did check the SG because I about went crosseyed.  Not all the HO's have them.
I also have no clue about the goblets.     Like you said,  maybe in the Bonus?

Oh, okay, luvtoread, thanks! Maybe I'm doing alright on my MO's.

I made a note of the collectibles in Black Rose (I have to, or I'll forget!). This is what I jotted down,
golden goblets, roses, pumpkins. Also, MO's in HOPS.
BTW, yay for you on the 5 Minute Coffee Break Achievement! I already got mine! Okay

I finished MOTW: Black Rose.   I managed to miss 1 pumpkin,  2 Roses  (altho the Extras let
you go back to the spots where you missed the Roses) and 1 Morph.
I still have no idea about those Goblets.
I even played the Bonus game all the way through.
I really liked this game,  although I thought the fight at the end of both the main game
and the Bonus was a little lame.
I am now playing Awakenings and also tackling Evil Pumpkin.
    Determined to get every Fairy.

I think the golden goblets are another word for achievements because when I clicked on it (down at the bottom of the screen), it took me to my achievements screen. Laugh

I finished the main game, too, luvtoread. And I thought the showdown was a little lame, also. I'm working on the bonus now.

I don't know what game I'll start next. I did get the new Silent Night. But I may just do a rerun of either MCF: Escape from Ravenhearst or Fate's Carnival or Dire Grove. I should replay Dire Grove since we're going back!

lol, Esme! I decided to save the Clueless Clan once again, geesh. Rolling Eyes

Plus, I needed a game to pair up with the new Nevertales. (Which I must say, from the demo, is pretty darn good!)

I'm playing Psycho Train right now. It's okay, so far. The HO scenes are really simple with little interactivity involved. The storyline progresses easily enough and I haven't run into any tech problems, yet.

I'm also still replaying MCF: Fate's Carnival and man, those puzzle locks are as hard as I remember them being. Sometimes, the Puzzle Hint doesn't make any sense to me, even after reading it 4-5 times. (btw, I noticed a Puzzle Lock in the new Grim Tales) Gah!

dj--I just dl/d   Your Clueless Clan- Snicker -I  think I will buy.  I am just confused about certain
aspects of this family line   ( I remember the last game had their tree---still did not
    clear anything up).

Now--Jackie is "our"  niece that we saved in Bloody Mary.      I am assuming she is
the daughter of Louisa and John Gray,  but she is never in their pictures--only Brandon
    is.
This game so far makes reference to Louisa's Older Brother--no name--and how she
got close to step-brother Thomas,  who really is a foster child who manages to
    inherit our painting talents!!  Stars
There was also Brandon's Uncle in the Stone Queen---but as the Famous Savvy Detective
Aunt--we were in the Dark as to what side of the family he was from.   Is he Louisa's
Older Brother?   Which would make him our Detective's Brother?  Who didn't seem to
    know him in Stone Queen.
Our Det. Lady Jane Gray is  sounding more like Inspector Clouseau.

Then there is the creepy picture-- in the room where they obviously were gathered,
but we are only interested in the tasty looking chicken--where the Black Bar wants
us to think that it is there for sentimental reasons.
What sentimental reason is there for a picture that looks like a child's nightmare?

Once again,   sucked into this nutty-butty family.

OOPs--I made a mistake.   She makes reference to her Older Sister--must be the
future famous Det.-going away to boarding school.

So....Unc is still a mystery and I still haven't figured out what century James and
Elizabeth have decided to live in.

     Two things:

    1. Does it really matter how all these loons are related? They all do stupid things and need saving. It's a shallow, shallow gene pool and none of them packed their floaties.

    2. If we're talking chocolate, I've always known the power of the dark side! NOM!  Chocolate num

It's getting to the point where if a game makes sense I'm the teeniest bit disappointed. LOL

Okay, THIS is why I love/hate these games. I just started playing the League of Light: Wicked Harvest game and I'm hanging from a broken carriage off of a dilapidated bridge and the game thinks that the smartest thing for me to do right now is read my diary! No mention of the horses that were pulling the carriage or where they have gone or, you know, getting down off the carriage... just "gee, it's a good time to pull out my dairy and read the entry I just heard about in the voice over".  Then I don't use the crossbow to send a rope somewhere to keep my a** safe, no, I use it to get the dangling owl emblem so I can do a HO scene. But hey, after I read my diary, at least I got a crowbar!

This is all in fewer than FIVE minutes into the game.

    Fabulous.
    faceplant

ETA: I didn't spoiler text this because it doesn't give away any plot points and besides, I felt the need to publicly shame the game just a bit. If you think I should really spoiler it, let me know.
