    Okay, first thoughts on Doorways...

_ Couldn't get very far in it.   Cry
    - Atmosphere is incredibly creepy.  Those torches that come on, definately adds to the chill factor.
    - Voice-over at the start (as heard in the trailer) sends chills down my spine.
    - Controls are a little awkward, but I guess that's why there's a tutorial, which you have to complete.
    - The dark scenes and 360 views make it hard to see where to go, and where to jump.
    - I don't see how to save the game.  So when you quit, you lose any progress you've made.   (please tell me if I've missed something  Suspect )

So far, I can't even make it through the tutorial   Embarrassed

JustTheFacts, how are you finding it?   Smile

Frodo--I made it through the tutorial.     Sweat drop

You basically have no other choice as to where to go for the tutorial.  Just let the
    game lead you.
You will find notes to help you along during the tutorial.
Voice over sounds to me like James Earl Jones.  (does that help you be any less creeped out?)
I am not sure about saving.   I was hoping for an automatic  save.

I am already ensnare by this game.

Actually,  I am already stuck.      Hmm...

Anybody else playing  (JustTheFacts?  Genki?)    SOS!

Luvtoread, congrats on making it through the tutorial.   Okay

The note that says 'Make It To The Top On Your Own'... I can't figure out how to get to the top.   Hmm...
I can jump on some of the rocks to get higher.  But then there's a HUGE gap until the next rock (unless I'm missing something), and it's too far to jump.  So I just fall back down to the ground.   Gah!

And it's not an automatic save.  I tried that already, and it just starts again from the begininning.

Still love that voice-over at the start though   Wink

Try pressing W and your Space Bar at the same time near the edge.  Then don't forget
to do that going back.   Laugh

I really hoping that once you get past tutorial and start the game it is automatically saving.
That's what Genki said in review   (ok...need a fingers crossed emoticon!!).

She Started a group gameplay   (Check Doors)  so we have a place to help each other.

Hi everyone! Sorry for staying away so long. RL has been hectic. I hope everyone is doing well. I just wanted to let the Nancy Drew fans know there are a lot of ND games on sale at Green Man Gaming for $1.74. Some are Steam, some are not.

Hey Genki, nice to see you too!  Clap Life is OK. Lots of drama here and there, but it's nothing I can't handle. I think I might be starting to get used to it. LOL! Dunno

That's what I was thinking. Hopefully some of them will be able to make use of it. Can't beat a deal like that. Smile

If you get a chance, will you post in the Green Man Gaming thread about what their service is like?  If you don't have time, I'll just copy over your ETA from the last post Smile

I hope that the drama subsides sooooon~!

I found the official Facebook page for Bad Omen HERE.  As of last month, they're saying "Date of publishing of the game become sooner!"  TeamTeetat predicted that it would be THIS month, so hopefully we'll get it this coming week!  faints  Gosh I hope so!

... I also hope that there are no localization errors like in the text I quoted above Silly face

Walking Dead Season one is on sale at GG for $6.24 today, and I MUST HAVE! OregonPandora and Kac played this one, and have both said it is FANTASTIC.  No great coordination needed to get through it, which is a plus, and the said the story is absolutely amazing.  SO, I'm getting it!  If anyone else is brave enough, I'll be happy to do a group play on it! Happy bounce

    Braiiiins...  walk-rawr

EDIT:  Oh, and the Walking Dead Pack (includes 400 Days) for $7.49!  Now I need to find out from OP if I need that one, too. Snicker

    About 400 Days:
kac wrote:I liked 400 Days but it is very short.  Perhaps 1-1/2 hours or so.  5 difference character scenes.  Supposedly the people in 400 Days will appear in Season 2.

Worth it for only $1.25 extra, in my books.  I'll get the pack.

Let's see, how many group plays do I have planned, now? Belly laugh
