I have a question, in HE: The Smithsonian, it lists a "Gold Crown in Every HOP." I haven't found any (typical for me). I have found the Smithsonian Emblems & a few of the MOs.
Do they mean "Crown" as in what a king wears or "Crown" as in money?
I've looked for both and so far, no luck.
(oh, btw, I thought the "stereograph" 3-D hidden object scene was really cool. It reminded me of the HO scenes in MCF: The Malgrave Incident (released for the Wii).

That has caught out a lot of people. Not any kind of collectible. Once you can do the replayable HOPs, you get up to 3 crowns based on your performance - no hints, time, and accuracy. When you can manage all 3 crowns on all of the HOPs, you get an achievement. It's a strictly bonus-play achievement.

For future reference, the easiest way is simply to fwd the email. But if its a bfg beta you can do what I do with the betas here. I go to the download page, copy the address and add it as a link in here.

Okay, will post in Beta thread, and when genki's in, I'll ask her to sticky it at the top of the thread, and I'll just add to it as I get more.

Yay, for your computer skills, luvtoread!  Okay I wish I'd had some computer skills because I just lost a post somewhere out there.  OH!

I finished Hidden Expedition: Smithsonian Hope Diamond and oh my gosh, what a phenomenal game it was! I felt like I was playing an Indiana Jones movie filled with action & adventure with a side of thrills, excitement and chasing baddies and a bit of history thrown in for good measure.
Awesome storyline as well as gameplay. Beautiful graphics in locations filled my laptop's screen, I was hypnotized!
I don't even care that I didn't initially find all my Smithsonian Emblems nor did I find all my morphing objects because I will definitely be replaying!
Kudos, to all those involved in the making of this wonderful game! I highly recommend it!

I will add...I wasn't real impressed with the demo & decided to pick this up in a BOGO sale with all intentions of giving this series one last chance.
I'm so glad I got it!

You won't have to replay to get your collectibles! There's a bonus game that lets you go to each location to collect them!! Cool! And the souvenir game sends you back to find just one item in a location.

And you do the replayable HOPs, I think, where you can add the morphs you missed. If i'm remembering correctly. I made 3 goofs about the TGT in the forums tonight. Ouch! Embarrassed

lol, JustTheFacts. I know, but I am so looking forward to replaying! And I don't want to find them all like that. I'd rather find them all while playing.
    Yeah, I freely admit...I'm weird!

No, I know how you feel, but seeing I rarely find them all first time I play, and that it will probably be 2 years before I play it again, I enjoy the little running around tidying up the loose ends.

Don't be so hard on yourself, JustTheFacts. Your Reviews are a necessity I need and you'd better not stop them or I will hunt you down.
I mean, I've never been to Australia & I would have to sight-see first. After sight-seeing, eating, and checking out the Australian men, I will find you!

(I'm in love with Simon Baker and I think he's Australian!)  Wub

Yes he is, and certainly hard not to love. But of course, RMom's avatar is also Australian. We cater only to the best lol  Mouse pbbt

I'm glad I have people like you to give me feedback, it definitely makes the 'job' a lot more fun, particularly when we talk about what we did or didn't like about a game.

Tonight, my mission was to play Order Of The Light, which was a lovely game to play, and very confusingly, covered some of the same ground as the TGT - they both have paintings that come to life. And both had iffy graphics. So, I'm talking about one, playing the other, and lo and behold - 3 big goofs! (Luckily not in the web page review - or here of course, I fixed it here)

Yes, she's very pretty. But Simon Baker is um...hot! I don't notice his accent in The Mentalist, but I've heard him on talk-shows & it's noticeable and he's just so darn cute!

lol yes you'll get no argument from me!

I think the way actors can change accents is so amazing! The love of my life is Spike from Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and the character is british, but the actor is US. I can't stand listening to him talk in interviews lol

I have some sad news.  Sportygal has deleted all of her reviews here, and I'm guessing that she's done the same at Big Fish (haven't checked.)  I'm thinking that the jerk who was copying her reviews and posting them as his/her own at Big Fish was the last straw.  I messaged her about it, but she hasn't answered.  I'm sad that she felt the need to remove her reviews even here, but I understand why she did it.

Sportygal, I hope that you see this message and know that we'd love for you to stay around and post, even if you never play a casual game again!

First off--Sportygal,  if you are reading this,  I am so sorry about some thieving,  poor excuse
for a b*st*rd  has  gotten you down.     But those who know you and your reviews should
catch on quick and hopefully call that person on it.
So,  hopefully once you have time to cool down and think things out,  you will be back here
    with us.

I LOVE AUSTRALIAN  ACCENTS!!    Wub    Cannot believe I haven't flown over there just
to nab me a husband.    Silly face
