Nice one, Tanya!  That's one of the HOG's that first sucked me into the genre!  It still holds a special place in my heart Sunny

    Caligo

A walking simulator with a vague "metaphysical" story behind. Not much to do but follow the path and listen to the ocasional dialogs. (You can collect a few pictures for an extra achievement). Also, the game is somewhat demanding on the hardware so this is not a game for older machines.
The setting are original and well done but most are not happy and they're not consistent with each other.
I wouldn't recommend it unless you're a fan of these games and it's on sale.

Hmm, Caligo certainly is a pretty game, and I own it, so I'll definitely be trying it at some point!

    Thanks for the feedback! Sunny

Added Super Potus Trump (100%)  A simple game really, easy to 100% but the 1000 coins can be a little grind. But there are a few tricks to get it done quick. Just a little fun easy game is all it is.

Well, some of the levels are not what I would call "pretty" and can be a bit sad or disturbing (just a bit).
The visual design is well done for an indie game, that's true.

I usually find your reviews quite useful so, my pleasure!

    Fall Of The New Age

    Namariel Legends

A couple of Hidden Object Games I had won on Steamgifts so I prioritized over other games in my backlog.

They're good enough since it's easy to get them very cheap. Good length because they're the premium editions and I found no bugs.

    5. Alan Wake < on easy  Big smile the story is great, the gameplay is.. okish.. i think! still need to do the extra episodes/dlcs
    6. _observer < a second time to get a different ending my fav game of 2017 and maybe 2018 too!!
    7. To the Moon < just wow

    • I really liked the atmosphere of Alan Wake, but I didn't get very far because of the flashlight-battery issue.  I want to be able to explore and find all of the hidden items, but you're dead if you don't have batteries, and that put me off a bit La la la!
    • Glad to see that observer_ is good - it's on my wishlist, so I'll look forward to playing it someday! Big smile
    • To the Moon was amazing!  I definitely look forward to getting/playing Freebird's newest game Finding Paradise!

Added Sherlock Holmes: Trap for the Hunter. Just a pretty simple HOG game. Not much of a story.
Other "puzzles" insanely easy, but I have to admit the HO scenes could be challenging as well as the spot the difference scenes. I do like how they had "real" pics of objects in the game too.

Adding "I Can't Believe it's Not Gambling". It's only completed not 100%, because the last achievement they made it really unattainable enough to not get through what you could call normal play. And I'm not downloading a program to do it either. So I'm calling it complete now.

Also adding Highrise Heroes to the complete list. I've played 31 hours on the game and am now stuck on level 27 (started on level 90). I enjoyed the game and was going for 100% but after trying level 27 many many times, the game has lost its appeal. I'm calling it complete at 25/36 on achievements. When it's stops being fun, I'm done!

Aww, I'm sorry that level 27 is giving you such problems!  I absolutely love the game, but the math levels can definitely be game-stopping!  Grr... One of those levels is keeping me from my 100%!

Adding the game 10,000,000. Have now 100% the game. It's an old skool look, match 3 type of game. It does have a kind of RPG element to it as well. The game is fun and the style as well if you like old skool graphics, which I do. Getting the 100% on it can be tough and frustrating. The three achievements that are usually the last three everyone has left can be tough, especially the last one, The Jose. You have to be decent at getting your matches in quick as well as lucky to get to 10,000,000. I was nearly to my frustration limit when I finally got "The Jose" completed.

How are the matches made?  I can't really tell from the video.

Well that's actually the part of the game that didn't translate well to pc from mobile. You have to click on an object, keep mouse button depressed "dragging" said object either left or right or up and down to where you want it. So playing it on mobile with touch screen probably more efficient/easy but it's workable on pc.

Whoops!  Forgot about the first one, and including the second:

    Zup! ("Puzzle" game)

Click on the ? to see the goal of the game. To put it simply, click red boxes to make them explode, with the goal of having the blue box end up sitting on the green bar.

Easy game with very few levels that are actually puzzles, and a couple that are timing-based. Good for 30 minutes of mostly-mindless clicks.

Has trading cards, plus 118 achievements for doing almost nothing... I feel dirty. :p

    ______________________________

    Zup! 2 (Puzzle)

LIke the first Zup! this is a very simple title: Blow things up and try to get the blue ball on the green platform.

I have to say that some of these levels were really satisfying, though I couldn't tell you why. *laughs* A few are timing-based, and overall, I'd say the level designs were better than in the first game.

The best thing about the game is easy achievements, and those achievements will look GREAT in a profile if you're into that kind of thing. (GUILTY!) Took me 30 minutes to complete. Good fun Smile

It's very, very good! It was very enjoyable, the art work, the graphics, even the music. I actually left the music on for quite a lot longer than I normally do. The RPG part of the game really added to the game.

    Nice Way (Physics Puzzler)

The premise is easy enough:  Get the balls from Start to Stop.

Draw lines for your balls to follow using physics to propel them.  Click on a line you've drawn to remove it.

Levels are timed, so you can compete with others (or yourself) to get the fastest time possible.

There are 45 Steam achievements - one for completing each level - which will be added when you EXIT the game.

I had trouble with a few of the levels, but for the most part, they're easy enough to figure out with a bit of experimentation.

A simple physics-puzzler to pass the time.  I enjoyed it. Smile

Added miss Fisher's, which I had forgot to add earlier. The game will become un-100% when/if the third part of the game is released. And tonight I just finished Kingdoms and Castles. I fun city builder that is neither too hard nor too easy, making it a game to challenge but not make it too hard. Was a relaxing and fun 20+ hours I put into it.
