Yikes, what a creepy game, Genki! But it sure looks good!

I can't wait to get my hands on a really good D&E game.

Hi jessmom! I loved the Haunted Manor games! I'm looking forward to Haunted Camp: Evil Games. I've got a beta in my e-mail I'm going to try to d/l tonight, time permitting. It's called Midnight Castle or something like that.

Right now, I'm mesmerized by Blue Tea's newest game, Cursery: The Crooked Man and the Crooked Cat. Their artists must use every single color in the whole universe as their graphics are just saturated with beautiful colors.

I got that e-mail on Midnight Castle, too.  Though it had been released in December!  I have a thread here: Midnight Castle.  It's by Elephant Games, but it's an F2P Sweat drop

Finished The Agency of Anomalies: Mind Invasion. Great game! I enjoyed it very much. Orneon does the "replace items back into the scene" parts really well. Good bonus game also.

Finished The Crooked Man and the Crooked Cat. Wow! Loved it! The storyline was fantastic in Blue Tea's "fairytale gone awry" way.
The bonus was, well...sort of macabre.
And I didn't find all of the achievements in either game!! I am consistent like that!  Okay

I had started Crystals of Time and this game gets a huge thumbs down from me. The story's tedious & slow-moving and so is the gameplay. The last hidden object scene I worked was horrible, I had no clue what I was clicking on, the graphics were that lousy.
The map was a useless transporter map that put you in the general vicinity of where you need to go, if you can figure out...where you need to go.
I doubt I'll even finish it.

Today am scheduled to play Mind Invasion, am really excited about it now! Hope I don't regret buying SE, still, can always upgrade. Do you think it was worth the extra?

lol, JustTheFacts, is it morning in Australia? I'm getting ready to head to bed.

Um, I am a huge fan of Orneon and 2 or 3 times now, I've upgraded from a SE to a CE. So, rather than bother CS, I just get the CEs of their games.
IMO, it's worth it. I thought the bonus was a very good length and that's what I'm interested in, the extra gameplay and anything else...not so much.  Big smile

Not quite morning - 2.30pm here in Western Australia

I prefer to go with the SE because, usually, at the end of that I don't feel the need for more. With a few important exceptions. But am a great fan of this series, and this one looks like the best of the lot. For me, the bonus is the biggest factor, but I do like collectibles and achievements(although I never get them all either) and sometimes I really like having the wallpapers.

Thinking about it, it's much cheaper to buy the SE and then upgrade - I use a coupon for the SE on a Monday, upgrade ($14) on a Monday - so get the CE, a replacement for my coupon. Effectively, the CE cost me $7 and I accumulate another punchcard coupon on the deal. (I'm a fanatic about saving $ on games - have to be. Am poor, can't afford the unlimited download plan I got anyway, and am addicted to games!  Belly laugh )

dj-  I knew you would like Crooked Man/Cat  cause I did.

Have you tried  Fall of the New Age?   I am getting it with a pcc.   I like it.  No bells or
whistles,  but the story is good.
For the life of me,  I cannot remember if I tried Mind Invasion or not.      Dunno
But if you like it...then I must check it out.

I have already dl/d  today's CE  Haunted Train of Spirited Charon  (JTF Know the True
Title   Snicker ).   Have things to do this morning,  but will be playing later.

Just finished Mind Invasion - loved it! But a bit hard for me. I skipped about half the puzzles! I think I will upgrade, and play again with the SG to help me.

Stand by for review... Big smile

The first one was the creepiest. The second manages to combine beautiful with ugly very well, but there are a couple of cute kids with pets, so maybe not that one. The third is the cleverest and weirdest story - set in a carnival-style theatre. And this latest is best in originality of puzzles, and some brill visual effects. For you, I'm guessing 1st or 3rd.

PS. there is a grittiness about the first game that none of the others manage because their graphics are more sophisticated.

I'm not really a fan of the series, and gave up after the second one. The villain is just too goofy. I think it's the tentacles.
