I suppose dealing with that family would age a person. Drastically.

Wow, Auntie Detective Gray now looks like Jessica Fletcher? She's aging faster than kids on TV shows. One season, they're babies...the next season, they're teens.

I liked Dire Grove 2, also. Well, most of it. I didn't like the question choices that Elephant's now come up with in some of their games. To me, it's only a time-killer and I don't like it in any game.
And the super puzzles were hard with no logic at all.
I can't remember if I played the CE or SE.

I don't have a clue what I'm going to play next. I think I'm entering another Game Funk. Maybe I'll rescue the Clueless Clan once again. *sigh*
Or maybe the new Mystery Trackers.

The Clueless Clan is always in need or rescuing. They're dumber than a bowl of oatmeal.  Yeah right

ETA: You know, I'm surprised the Pond People didn't have their collective panties in a bunch over this game. It's very demon-y and dark magic-y... and that usually sets them off.  Hmm...

The new Clueless Clan game is demon-y and dark magic-y? Well, I didn't know that. It didn't strike me as being a demon-y and dark magic-y game from playing part of the demo.

I think the Pond People are busy griping about all the cutie helpers we're seeing. Good grief, they did gripe long enough about all the D&E games, so now we get fairytales and cutie helpers.
Gee, thanks Pond People. Yeah right

I started playing Grim Facade:  Hidden Sins.  I was really enjoying it,  but it just froze up.
I will try to play it again in a little while,   see if it behaves itself.

Good news.   I went back in and it behaved itself.   Played to the end.
I will probably wait for the SE.

I liked the demo of Grim Façade: Hidden Sins, also. For sure, it's a darker game than ERS' usual fare.
And, of course, a few people were griping about it.
And, of course, I knew I had to demo it because of the griping.

I'll probably get it. I'll wait to see what Saturday's CE is...and if there's a good sale going on.

Okay. Fine. I saved the family from the boogey monster curse witch thingamabob, but I refuse to go to the secret room and help the kid with her homework.

I'm so DONE with you, Clueless Clan. DONE!

    No more. Ever.

I wish the sale was better.   Oh well.   I am going to demo  Forgotten Kingdoms:  The Ruby Ring.

Well,  not sure if its just me,  but Forgotten Rubies is Forgettable for me.

Its just not inspiring me to want to buy,  so I will be saving my money.   I really want to
get DP:  The Ballad of Rapunzel CE,  so I am waiting for a good CE sale.
This weekend sale is not inspiring me.

The screenshots for Forgotten Rubies didn't look interesting to me, so no need to demo.

I won't be participating in this weekend's sale, either.

I just finished MT: Nightsville Horror. It was okay although by the time I got to the end, I was kind of bored with the whole thing. I didn't even feel like playing the bonus, but I did and discovered the bonus is not necessary for a satisfactory ending. I should've used a PCC for the SE.

Our weather has been terrible. Rain, rain, and more rain for days now. I know we're getting remnants of Hurricane Bill (or whatever his name is), but it was raining here before that.
All this rain makes me feel kind of blah.

I just looked at the Forgettable Rubies game... I'll pass. Definitely will pass on the Labyrinths of the World game. The sale is lame, so I think for fun, I'll just go downvote all the reviews whining about how dark and creepy the new ERS game is.

Yes, I am a petulant child some days!  Happy bounce

    Snicker  @Esme!!!!!!

The new Grim Façade is dark, but it's not creepy. And it was sort of easy. I'm in agreement with luvtoread...I'll wait for the SE.

You know how I feel about ERS games in general: too easy, too formulaic, too yawn.Dark & Eerie Games Thread - Page 31 Yawn But never too dark. I was just annoyed at the sunshine committee who once again is griping because not every game fits their idea of what's "right".
So I went snark sniping. Dark & Eerie Games Thread - Page 31 Icon_elmerfud Like I said, probably childish, but I don't care! LOL!

I started playing the beta of Redemption Cemetary:  something something.

This is another series that should come to an end.    Someone dies,   you
have to help them by changing their history or story or whatever.
    I was bored.

I could not believe the Eipix sale does not have the Ballad of Rapunzel.   It has some
    other DP.
I need to play demo of DM:  Thin Ice and see if I want to buy.

Exactly this. Ugh. This is apparently one of those sacred series like Puppetshow that just won't stop. I stopped buying them (and Puppetshow) several games ago. Just too boring! Dark & Eerie Games Thread - Page 31 Aloof-and-bored001

I went back in to finish the game.   I don't know--its slightly different then previous
Redemption Cemetary.   But the ending made me feel--like it didn't matter what you
    did.  Too many chances.
I do not want to give out spoiler for those who play it.

But,  I am still ambivilent about it.

I let them know that the game was boring,  and that they should develop a new type of game.

luvtoread, I think the Ballad of Rapunzel is a Blue Tea game. It might've been their last DP game before Eipix took over.

I thought I'd already played the new Redemption Cemetery, but I reckon not. It was another ERS game, I don't remember which one and I do remember I didn't like it.

Justie, I have about 3 of the newest Eipix games I haven't played yet!

I'm getting ready to play Sable Maze: Twelve Fears.

Oh, well then, I'd better play that Redemption Cemetery I still have showing on my desktop since there's a new RC coming out.
Though I am not in a hurry to play it.

One of the CEs coming out this week (maybe) is Spirit of Revenge: Elizabeth's Secret. I liked the last game, so I'm going to check it out on YT.
And...I don't know why BF's FB page only lists 1 new CE for the week. It's been like that for a few weeks. I would prefer they listed both CEs. I could manage my purchasing better if I kind of knew what was scheduled for release.

The images from SoR:E'sS looked interesting. I don't think I played the first one, though I'm sure I have it. I might have to give it a try.

I ended up being just a bit disappointed with Surface: Alone in the Mist. It was an abrupt and sort of stupid ending. At least IMO. And the bonus section was silly. Again, at least IMO.

I really want a good, fun, creepy, challenging game. Is that too much to ask? (The answer, apparently, is YES lately. Ugh.)
