The TGT at Big Fish is Braveland (which they're calling an adventure, but looks more like a strategy-type game to me) and there is a soft release of Big Win Goldmine, which is a casino game.  The Daily Deal is Crime Line, which is really different -- I recommend checking it out! Use the code ONEDAY for $9.99 CE's, and the code SALE50 for $4.99 SE's.

Both GameHouse and iWin have the Collector's Edition of Royal Envoy 3.

Go to Steam's Main Page to see the 9 Daily Deals and 8 Flash Deals.  GamersGate's Daily Deal is for the Fallout games.

I trialled Braveland and found it to be cute and fun.  I'd call it an "adventure lite" game - kind of a questing game for the super casual game market.  It was a nice change from the TM and HOG games normally featured.  So I supported it - IMO variety is a good thing, and the game played well,, had decent graphics / game mechanics, and was enjoyable.

If you enjoy those types of games, it's worth a peek.

(this isn't meant to be a review - if anyone is interested and there's a Braveland thread, I'll post a real review.)

Hello Oh Wise and Wonderful Forum Folk - I was wondering ...

It used to be that one had to be a BF Game Club member to get the TGT.  But now I can get it without being signed in.  When did that stop being a perk of Club Membership?

(Or is this really, really old news and I just noticed now?)

First I've heard of it. But I'm always logged into BFG, so wouldn't know how long it's been like that.

Nothing is worse than taking advantage of a sale, carefully figuring how many punches you'll get to maximize the savings ... only to complete the purchase to realize that You. Can't. Count.   Oops!

So unless I want to buy a CE and a SE, or 4 SEs, I'll lose two punches on the 1st.  And I might want to, but I spent all my moolah over at GOG today.

The code is CROWN for the deal.

Which I've decided makes zero sense for me to do...and I've decided I do NOT need yet another game series to love.  So I'm skipping Hidden Expeditions entirely (unless somebody convinces me that is a huge mistake.   Whistle )

The devs certainly kept this one quiet ... ...

... of course one has to shout things from the rooftops and put out a flashing neon banner for me to notice, but still.  Hadn't a clue.

I demoed this game - and lasted all of 28 minutes - thinking it might have tycoon aspects for my tycoon lovin' hubbs ... what exactly does one DO in this game?  I didn't get it.  Perhaps some people will enjoy continuously feeding, cleaning, etc a bunch of animals, but this was not a game that appealed to me.

You're given an empty dilapidated farm and an ostrich with the not-surprising goal of building a gloriously successful farm.  While the graphics are fresh, the game feels as if it is designed for a touch screen.  The mouse controls are unwieldy and awkward.  You must feed the animals and keep them clean, or they will run away.

Each time you buy food, it gets more expensive to buy the next time (very uncool).  It is ridiculously hard to make any money in the beginning of the game.  There is a tutorial, but it is sadly lacking in explanation.

All in all, this is a sim game for folks who like to clean up after dirty animals.  ... It feels like a freemium game gone wrong, or (my perception of) something people would do on social media, or a game you'd play on a smart phone when you are bored out of your mind.

I give it ZERO stars ... unless somebody comes along and explains to me what I missed.
