Well, you probably all know I survived my gastric sleeve operation and am in recovery. My body handled everything no sweat, and is healing well. But I am still feeling nauseous and lethargic a lot of the time. This is because I eat the wrong food and take bites instead of nibbles.
But its purpose was to cut down on my sugar levels/meds, and I have gone from maximum doses on 3 meds, to standard dose on just one, and finally my levels are normal every day.
The other big plus was losing weight to reduce the pain in my back, and my back is already much better.
My weight is going down down down, and I am already having to set aside clothes for the charity shop because they are too big for me.
The historical significance of 55kg
April - notified of surgery coming up, weighed 87.5
August 4 - weighed 85.1, began the fasting diet
August 18 - had the op
August 25 - weighed 79.8
Today - weigh 74.8
Only 20kg more to my perfect weight. Am hoping to impress the surgeon when I see him end of November. He wants me in the low 70s, I intend to be in the high 60s. And in the 50s for xmas and a massive clothes buying spree!
