Yep, I need to tailor it to three different applications, which I'm hoping to submit tomorrow.

Wow, two popular F2P games from Boomzap no longer updated. Sucky SE HOGS. I never know when Bonus Punch day is going to happen, therefore, I can't strategize my PC accurately.
I'm wondering why I still keep my membership at BFG.

I'm playing the bonus in Cadenza: Kiss of Death. And boy, did I have trouble with this game. I can say, without a doubt, the HO lists DO NOT change items. I know this because I had to un/reinstall the game 3 times.
First time was the beta. Second and third was because HO listed items were not showing up in certain scenes. I could blindly click and a cross-out would show on the list, well, I didn't feel like playing that way.
Finally got it to install correctly. After all that restarting...I didn't like it as well as I did the first Cadenza.

I don't know if it's just me, but I feel that quality control has sharply declined at BFG. While Customer Service has always been exceptional, I've never turned in a tech issue ticket. It's not worth it to me to have to change my whole computer in order to play a game. I'm definitely not tech savvy, so if a un/reinstall doesn't work (ever), I'm up the sh*t creek and chalk it up to a bad experience.
The SE games...what in the world???? I'm not talking about CEs turned SEs. I'm talking about the hidden "gems" we would get every once in awhile, where are they???? Geesh.
I feel I have to buy the big name developer's games just to keep them developing, even though I like the lesser-known developers and want to support them also, and sometimes, more than the big names.
Cause even the big devs release below par games, IMO.

I guess I'm kind of worried is all. The more articles I read about casual gaming vs. mobile games, it doesn't look good for us HOPA players.

Although many despise the Evil Steam Empire, I'm appreciating them more and more.  I've come to actually like their invasive game manager, and I simply love being able to easily snap a screen and upload it to the daily activity feed for all of my friends to see/comment on.

The nicest thing of all is that I frequently pay less than a dollar per game, due to the bundle deals, PLUS the Steam sales have very nice prices (the summer sale is just around the corner!)  All of those bundle games that I have no interest in can be given or traded away, and I activate the ones with Steam trading cards so that I can sell them and have Steam Wallet $, which helps pay for said games!  It's all very nice.

Man, Juliette was a prime example of "Good girl gone Evil bitch". She totally flipped out and was on the power hungry train to nowhere.
There was absolutely NO coming back from what she'd done to Nick.

Here in the UK, we get Grimm several weeks after US, so haven't seen the finale yet. But I saw how Nick reacted when she confided in him, and revealed she's now a hexen beast.  He wouldn't even look at her!  She feels rejected by him.  No wonder she's angry.  Poor Juliette 

Hope there's a BOGOF sale this weekend - could do with some cheering up. 


BTW, has anyone else noticed - the Top 10 games at BFG, their casino game is ALWAYS at number 3.  Most games go up & down in the Top 10, but the casino seems fixed at #3.  Makes me suspicious that BFG just fix the list however they want... 

Oh my gosh, I felt so sorry for Juliette, too, Frodo, when Nick couldn't/wouldn't even look at her.

I noticed that about the Casino game and I'm always getting emails about it, though I've never played it. (And don't want to)

We haven't had a BOGO sale, hmm....seems like forever. On BF's FB page, sometimes they list the new releases for the week, and sometimes, they don't.
For me, I'd like to know what's coming out. That way, I can better plan my purchases for the month.
One good thing about waiting - I can read about all the tech issues and decide if I want to chance it or not.
I reckon they don't always announce upcoming games because of the public outcry of "You said this game was coming out this week and it's not here. I'm so disappointed, etc."
Well, I know it's not carved in stone on what games are released. Things happen and a scheduled game may have to be pulled for technical reasons. I'd rather they attempt to fix the game before releasing it.

Well, I'm going to demo Haunted Train 2. It looks a little cartoonish and I think there's a gadget involved.

Haunted Train 2 is ok. Didn't grab me as much as #1 did, but I will eventually get it.

Well, we have our BOGO sale. I am definitely getting the new Grim Nutty family and
Dark Parables: Queen of Sands. I have 2 Game Credits so I might as well use them.

I have been playing Living Legends: Frozen Beauty that I bought as a COW. I really
have been enjoying it; though when it came time to rescue those young girls I really
thought that it was a bad idea to keep frozen forever whiny petulant demanding teenage
girls who could still complain in their spirit form.
I get why they are ticked off, but I still would not want to listen to them!

Off to buy and play.

I picked up the new Dark Parables, the new Grim Tales, Dark Romance Something-or-Other, and Sable Maze: 12 Fears. Should be an interesting haul! 

I also want to get Sable Maze. Not sure what I will pair it with, want to demo the new one
out today--something about a baby and prophecies.

esme---you have to join us in saving the Grimm whacko family. They always make for
interesting story lines

I love Blue Tea games. Really enjoy all the intricate stuff they include.

Unfortunately, I have to stop playing and get some stuff done this morning.
Then I can get back to what is more entertaining to me!

I just got to a part where our Heroic Detective passes out (that seems to be a thing with
heroic game playing Detectives, doesn't it?) (Dark Parables, by the way).
Well, came to and was given the finger.
I had to be saved by somebody's singing voice.

I finished DP.   That really was a long game and I really enjoyed it.  Even played the Bonus.
Finding some of those FROG's   was a PITA  at times.   I nearly fell asleep trying to find some
itty bitty little object.  

Now I am playing  Grim Tales.    It is not centered on the family,  but does involve the niece,
Julie,  Janey,   Mary Jane,  whatever her name is.
Thanks to having the gift,   we go on a Magical Mystery Tour,   never having to leave the bed.
Which is how I play my games.      
Oh,    and there is a pic of "me" (or our character)   the Auntie with the Gift.  
 Just think of Jessica Fletcher instead of Pamela Anderson.

I don't think it is going to take as long to play this as DP.     Good thing I get my games on sale.

I bought 4 CEs and 2 SEs on the sale, then used the pccs to get another 3 SEs. 

God only knows why. I have over 100 unplayed Big Fish games - some where I haven't played the previous game in the series. 

I can sympathize. I have a few I need to finish, plus I bought 2 more CE's today.
I really wanted Sable Maze. Then I realized I never bought DP: The Purple Tide Mermaids.
.I also have 2 pcc's I will need to use soon.
Come to think of it, I do not have the Rapunzel one either.

That is not including the games I have from other sites that have been waiting for 2 years to be
played!

I just finished the main game in DP: Little Mermaid and the Purple Goo. I can't help it. I just love that series. They're so beautiful and I am a weirdo who actually enjoys FROG games. I'd put it off because of new devs/designers, but I am happy with the game and it was fairly lengthy too. I'll try to get to the bonus section today. I have been pacing myself with the Clueless Clan. I guess Auntie Gray aged pretty fast because she was fairly young just a few games ago. Ugh. I don't know why I keep inflicting this series on myself other than the sheer idiocy of it all! LOL

I hope you are all having a great Monday (if, indeed, it is Monday in your part of the world) and that the US folks have a great holiday. We BBQed yesterday and worked in the house and yard. Today I'm just going to chill, which also sounds fabulous. 

It's been confirmed -- I got the job!  Friday is my last day of my current job, I get a week of "vacation," and then I start my new job on the 8th!   Happy day~!

I'm not loving Sable Maze: 12 Fears. It's rather dumb, to be honest. 

esme- I am rather in agreement with you. Altho the slight twist in the story line
is slightly interesting, having to save the daughter over and over cause she just
won't listen is tedious.
I enjoyed the other Sable Mazes, but this one I am sorry I bothered buying. I will finish
it just because I won't waste my money and I am curious about the Brother and Sister thing.
I abandoned it to play DP: The Purple Water Mermaids and I just loved it. I have the CE,
and found the Felix's, the tea, most of the parables (I am on the Bonus).
I do not have the Rapunzel or the Cinderella ones and I am seriously thinking of getting
them. I remember you did like them.

I don't think I can finish 12 Fears. I'm only on Fear 3, Amber's a brat, Dad is a doofus, and the game is boring. 

Other than that, it's great. 

I have to go through one more fear-thank goodness they are lumped into 3's.
But this last one just made me want to smack that brat.   First she whines cause she
needs saving,   then she gives attitude.
I wish there was an option to tell her to go save her obnoxious self  


I finished the main game. Daughter says Dad is awesome (ending was rather lame, not awesome).
I go to Bonus game (maybe that is where she actually compliments him?).
Anyway, I will not be playing Bonus. I am done. It is just more of the same and I
am too tired to care.
