    I'm just to chapter 3.  Should I wait for folks to catch up (it isn't like I don't have a pile of other games to play  Whistle ).  ...Or am I behind everyone else  OH! ?


    PS - I hope my glitch doesn't become game breaking!  I don't have the GOG version of TLJ yet ... it's on my list for when I can play all weekend without stopping.  <---- This means I may never get it.   Sigh

    I think I am still on Chapter 2---or is it 1?    I never keep track of these things.

    I am at  the library.   I am stuck at a couple of spots

    spoiler--but probably not for pippi:

    How do you work around that glitch if it won't let you open stuff--like the cabinets?
    Its frustrating and disappointing when a game gives you a hard time.

    LuvTo - My workaround is to exit the area and go back.  So far, that has worked OK.  It was very frustrating, because I would think, "Oh, I need to go there and look at that..." and when I went there to look at that, nothing happened so I wandered aimlessly.  Now that I know, I hope I can keep progressing.

    As for you being stuck:

    Question for LuvTo to help her get Unstuck:

    Let me know - I will try to help you past it without just telling you what to do.  Or I can mind my own beeswax.

    It's good to know most folks are sort of where I am.  I was afraid that I'd gotten terribly behind since I didn't play all weekend.  I don't mind pausing here; I like kind of being at the same spot as everybody else Smile

    Definitely Spoiler - Hopefully these are vague enough hints it doesn't just give it away:

    Hopefully this will get you over your stuck spots.  If not; I can be less vague.  To be honest, if I hadn't had the glitch with the filing cabinet, it would have taken me a LOT longer to figure some of this stuff out.  But since I wandered aimlessly for a while, I figured some things out before I knew I needed to know it!

    Now,  I have to figure out what is next to do.

    Today is going to be humid and rainy,  sweltering  so good day to play a game.

    I finished up the Testament of SH.    Really enjoyed it.   Hate ending a good game.

    So,   I am back to playing Gray Matter and just had a good laugh.   Any of you playing
    will know what I mean when she says  "I feel so stupid".

    My only "huh"  in that scene is she is able to take something without any alarms going off.
    I was recently at an art museum,  and I set off the alarm because I got to close to the
    books!!    Embarrassed 

    Found out I could jump back very quickly.

    I am enjoying this game.   The twists and turns.   Plus some of the laughs.

    David Styles just   (rightly so)  reamed a woman out over the phone.

    I hope some of you can get back to playing it,  you will enjoy the plot and the story line.

    genki---I have read your other thread and I, too,  hope that soon you can get back to some
    semblance of a normal life  (aka--game playing    Snicker )

    I just finished this game.  I should've seen the outcome but I was distracted by

    spoiler:

    This game had its challenges,  and I like its points system.   As aggravating as I first
    thought it was,   it was a good thing it would not let you move on till you accomplished
    something you missed in the Chapters.

    Now,  I have 2 started and not played in awhile games:
    Montague's Mount and The Book of Unwritten Tales  (I started and stopped
    playing Unwritten Tales about 2 months ago.   Between not knowing what to do and
    having to work a lot,  it has just languished in laptop limbo).

    It is raining out,   no work for me.....guess I will just play.

    I've been playing the game a bit tonight, and I'm currently in the magic shop.

    I'm not feeling terribly compelled to play the game at this point, but I'm sure it will pick up once I've found all six students.  I do wish the gameplay was a bit more intuitive, but I'm guessing it will be easier once I get into the rhythm of the game.
