She who shall not be named is back with good news, better news, and bad news from the doc. (the REAL one that is! )
Dropped 4kg in 4wks, dropped from 12 to 10 on my BSLs, all good!
Have to have a biopsy on the lump in my throat, not so good!

Re: Here There Be Dragons!
yup! And better still, the dentist may do it on an appointment I already made for teeth - no waiting! And he can do its removal too!
Also will have to go on an enforced holiday to visit my sis in Perth (500km away) to see ENT guys. Seeing I actually sorta like my sis, this is a good thing.
How is Dragonia doing? All our dragons well?

Re: Here There Be Dragons!
A little disconcerting but also good... The dentist just rang me, I am in for emergency treatment (to do the biopsy) Monday at earliest appointment 8.15am!
Obviously somebody at least is taking me seriously! I keep telling them there's something wrong - at least Doc is trying to rule out as much as possible as quickly as possible. Nice of him to to that.

Re: Here There Be Dragons!
I think that was what the doc was thinking too. Peter's gonna hate me lol. He has to go into the city on Tuesday afternoon for a sleepover at the Sleep Clinic... he's not going to want to go down on Monday and hang around for ages waiting for me!!
But he'll do it, and that's why he is such a good friend!

Re: Here There Be Dragons!
Okay mum!
Have it all worked out now anyway, and fully intend to get what I want from the doctors and nothing less. Which will involve a couple of keyhole surgical procedures, but I am not worried about them, and the end result - healthy weight I can sustain, pain-free back, daily exercise and diabetes under control.
Worth fighting for, I figure...
