Esme is forcing me to continue my addiction to buying games and purchasing this one. Even though as she says, I have NO idea what's wrong with that family tree.

Nope, just bad grammar, which I find more offensive.
I'm seriously disappointed right now, Stupid, inane plot and ridiculous premises I can handle. Bad grammar is just sloppy.

I am imagining your reaction to the word "Unpleasany" in the letter. Though they did get
it right in the black bar.

You are ahead of me, and I just saw this. Actually, it just makes me sad.
I'll rant all day long about silly stuff, but bad grammar just makes me sad and disappointed. Doesn't anyone proof this stuff?

Did you ever wonder how some of the families in these games have any fortune left to fight about? Think about all the diamonds and rubies and gold and other precious materials that they just slap all over every lock, key, trinket box, statue, dog collar, and stone fresco along the path! All the stupid curlicued and carved plants? Every freakin' pond with little golden frogs and whatnot?
I think some of them should have invested in an education rather than another golden purse latch or pocket watch made of gold, pixie dust and unicorn farts.

Apparently the judge is a distant relative.
"Since Elizabeth is not dead, I guess James is innocent"
REEEEEEEEEEEEEAAALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLYYY?????
And how about an abrupt ending??? WHOA! If I had bought the SE, I'd be pissed off!

I couldn't believe it when the game threw me right back into the court house---yet I had not
collected all the evidence. The map would not let me back into the "past" or whatever,
so I was forced to use a hint twice to get in and out.
The judge is a distant relative? How did I miss that?

Not really. He is just so stupid, that I deduced that he must be a relative.
I was just being a smartarse.

So funny, Esme!!
You know, I have noticed Elephant becoming sort of lax in their spelling & grammar nowadays.
I would've played along with you guys but I'm playing Final Cut: Homage & had to restart because I forgot about my "collectibles."
That'll teach me to look at the achievements before starting the game!

LOL DJ I almost never look at the achievements on any game; I make myself crazier if I do!
I'm going to take a deep breath then wade back in for the bonus content. Something's bothering me though... the whole "who inherits this big, dumb mansion" thing. If Elizabeth was the eldest, why would James need to sign off on inheriting the old barn? Was sissy dear disowned or something? Or was the whole idiotic clan so paternalistic that a female couldn't inherit? And just a big ol' "SAY WHAT???" to the McClellan, McChicken, McNugget whatever the other branch of the family nut tree? Where did they come from?
AND.... this is bugging me even more than Clueless Clan...
Did we just send a bag full of Dobermans over a cliff?

Owl treats?
Are they effing kidding me?
Where does one purchase owl treats? Can I buy them in bulk at Costco?
I may have to change the name of my imaginary punk band from Ferret Whistle to Owl Treats.

I. Touched. The. Amulet???
Yup, I'm definitely related.
On an entirely different note: how am I supposed to be intimidated by a potion that calls for "dogberries"?? BWA-HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Sounds like something Cap'n Crunch feeds his pets!

LMAO, Esme!!!
I know I shouldn't be in this thread, for I've not played the game yet.
But I needed my laugh!
And by the time I get around to playing, I will have forgotten everything I read.

"Esme moments" I am cracking up over here!!!
I'll definitely have to remember that!!
Upon encountering the numerous illogical things we have to do in a game, this is how I picture Esme when she plays...

Imagine how I feel... every DAY is an Esme moment. LOL
BTW...
Have I mentioned this game was STOOPIT?
Still, it's better than "Stupid Underwater Lizard People Who Don't Obey the Laws of Physics" and its spawn.

I am sure it's all part of their plan to take over the universe... with stupidity.
