Hi I am new!!!

Hello, I am new; I live over at Challengers(lol) and saw the reference to this site...
Being a nosy parker,(although, as I love mysteries, I prefer to say I am like a detective...lol) here I am!

My name is Mary and I live in B.C., Canada.
We live on Vancouver island( which is across from Vancouver, just to confuse things...) and are fortunate enough to seldom get snow in the winter!
In fact(shh) we have had a very mild one, so far!

I love adventure games(especially point and click) , word games and puzzles...I am not a fan of timed stuff though...lol

I just finished playing the Raven and as usual, am thinking, "now what" ...lol as it was so good... Clap

Welcome Heleanthia - I divide my time between here and The Pub. Both are great sites. Challengers is too. Genki does a wonderful job with this site. I read a lot more than I post though as there is just so much interesting stuff here.

I enjoy HOPA games the most but will play most anything. I, like you, do not play anything timed though. I don't really enjoy the building games that much either.

I did not realize there was any place in Canada that didn't get snow. LOL I live in North Carolina and we have had lots of snow this winter which is unusual for us. Today is like spring though and my spirits are lifting!

So glad you are here. Look forward to seeing you around.

I live in Bonny Scotland, and we've been very lucky, and avoiding the snow. We've had some snow in the air, but it hasn't been laying. We've had some rain though Wink

We know more about the USA than you know about us, I think...lol...its because we get a lot of American tv stations...
Canada is very diverse...many different climates . The west coast is very different from the east and also as we are at sea level, it makes it milder still.

I am first generation Canadian !
Have you played The Lost Crown?

Can you believe I am still playing Raven? I am on Chapter 2, went through a whole lot of conversations,
then stopped without saving $D\\'oh!$ Will be tackling that tomorrow, seeing as I am not getting
to far in Doorways. I am figuring you probably read about the Doorways game play that I mentioned

I'm the representative of the Southern Hemisphere here, I live in Australia. Western Australia, to be precise (although, seeing that covers 1/3 the entire continent, maybe that isn't very precise Yeah right

Hello Everyone! I am new and I am looking forward to joining you all. Thank you to JustTheFacts for introducing me. I am a long-time member of The Pond who was missing our wonderful Chit Chat and I had no idea that this forum existed. Needless to say, I am thrilled.
