    Weekend Promo: Thank You, Atari!
Get Master of Orion 1-3, Alone in the Dark 1-4, KKND 1&2, and more endangered Atari classics 65% off!

Weekend Promos at GOG - Page 2 A6fb8098717d14389e43adab5bfc38a6d9babc9d_smallOut of all gaming industry brands in existence, Atari always was one of the most recognizable and respectable. For over 40 years the name has became inseparably associated with unpretentious gaming fun. The amount of progress a single company can bring to an industry is simply astounding. From game cabinets to home consoles, from 8-bit classics to recent blockbusters, from engineering to publishing--the company was always in the center of it. It's unlikely there are many gamers who weren't saddened by the news of company's trouble. Whatever happens now, we should hope that it will emerge victorious once the dust settles, as it did numerous times before. Gaming legends are forever, so today all there's left to say is: Thank you, Atari!

The entire Atari catalog on GOG.com is available 65% off. We're talking landmark titles like Master of Orion 1+2, Alone in the Dark 1+2+3, Total Annihilation: Commander Pack, Star Controll 1+2, and Outcast, among many others. Head out to the promo page, to see the entire selection. The offer lasts until Tuesday, July 16, at 3:59AM GMT. Don't miss out!

    Weekend Promo: Anuman Discoveries
Atlantis series, Haegemonia, Syberia 1&2, MegaRace 1-3, and more Anuman Interactive games 60% off!

Weekend Promos at GOG - Page 2 9a4dcf05b4dc89296b4337bd8569a2eef859f365_smallDiscovery is one of the humans' most basic needs. We eat, we drink, we sleep, we mate, and then we go someplace new. Some of us are more adventurous than others, but the need to see what lies beneath the hills is firmly rooted in the human soul. That's why we always seek out new lands. That's why we're always fascinated by legends of lost civilizations. That's why the unknown is our favorite direction. Oh yes, this can be a long and eventful weekend if you're ready to make some Anuman Discoveries!

The stories of the lost land of Atlantis have filled our imagination with amazing visions for ages. The adventure games fueled by those vision can set the mood for further exploration of the unknown. Syberia, although it can be seemingly easy located on a map, is no less mysterious and strange than Atlantis. At least in the phenomenal point-and-clicks by the visionary Benoît Sokal, it is. If the earthly mysteries no longer excite you, you can always set out for the ultimate frontier, and explore space in Haegemonia: Gold Edition. Don't expect your journey towards stars to be peaceful and uneventful, though!

Apart from strange and forgotten lands, and the distant reaches of space, there's lots of games that wait to be discovered in our weekend offer. Titles of varied genre, size, and age wait for you in the promo page, and they're all 60% off until Tuesday, July 23, at 3:59AM GMT. Don't miss out!

    Weekend Promo: Indie Action
Pid, Strike Suit Zero, Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams, Trine, La Mulana, and more indie titles 60% off!

Weekend Promos at GOG - Page 2 Eef81aabde36d913ccda523e963a038cfadc3040_smallIn the golden age of classic PC gaming there was very little limit to developers creativity when it came to action games. Each new title could introduce new ideas, gameplay models, technical advancements, and aesthetic choices. Nowadays the progress slowed down almost to a full stop, and the diversity toned down by far. New action games developed by large studios follow same patterns and rarely experiment with their identity. Even the best and most elaborate titles rarely divert from the popular choices. Are we really doomed to buy the same games over, and over again? Indies to the rescue! Modern independent developers present the same amount of sheer unlimited creativity as their predecessors in the 1980s and 1990s. Even when drawing from the classics, their games present the same enthusiasm and imagination as the titles many of us grew up with. That's why today, we're proud to present you with our Indie Action promo. You can get 12 indie titles, each of them original and fresh in its own way, with a 60% off discount!

There's Pid, a gorgeous, original platforming adventure telling a story of a little boy stranded on a mysterious planet, for only $3.99. Or, if you like some physics-based puzzles in your platformers, for the same price you can grab Trine, a game following the fantastic voyage of three likeable characters, each with a special set of abilities. Or perhaps you like your games with a bit of punishing difficulty? Well then, be sure to check out La Mulana, a challenging old-school free-form platformer that lets you explore mysterious ancient Mayan ruins.

Say, maybe you're missing the excitement of deep space combat? Don't miss your chance to take the steers of Strike Suit Zero, for only $7.99. In this action packed, visually stunning revival of space combat sim genre, with many new ideas, you'll pilot a craft capable of transforming into a giant robot to take on swarms of enemies with unsurpassed maneuverability and firepower. Too serious for your taste? No problem! For only $3.99 you can take the fight somewhere completely different in Symphony. In this music-driven vertical shoot-em-up full of eye-candy, and packed with a dynamic electro-soundtrack, you will defend your very own music collection from a strange virtual entity that threatens to corrupt your hard drive.

That's not all by far! Make sure to navigate to our Indie Action promo page, and see what other exciting titles you can get 60% off this weekend. The offer lasts until Tuesday, August 6, at 3:59AM GMT. Don't miss out!

Weekend Promo: Team 17 and Kalypso Mix
Superfrog, Alien Breed + Tower Assault, Tropico 3 Gold Edition, Worms 1&2, Cultures series and more 60% off!

Weekend Promos at GOG - Page 2 7369d5ce76f25b1fdb8cdf296f0c4e2b9b0aafc8_smallSometimes, we just like to open our treasure chest, grab a handful of great games, and throw them up in the air. Then we dance like mad people, jump around, and laugh as the games rain down on our heads like awesome digital confetti. Then, whatever falls inside a circle we've painted on the floor, we pick up and put on weekend promo. This week's lucky winners are Team 17 classics and strategy games from Kalypso Media. Let's take a quick look at our--let's stick to that--selection of the games you can get 60% off in the Team 17 and Kalypso Mix weekend promo, shall we?

Team 17 brings in a solid serving of nostalgic fun to the table. Look! Is it a strange little green bird? Is it a tiny plane with a red cape tied around it's cabin for some reason? No! It's Superfrog! This classic platformer of the early 16-bit era comes with so many memories, that whoever had the pleasure of playing it in the past, will instantly feel warm and fuzzy inside. All those who haven't played it before can now leap right into the arcade history spanning across 24 colorful levels, for only $2.39! What else from Team 17? Worms United and Worms 2 managed to wiggle their way into the promo easily, even though some of them got squished while crossing the road overtaken by the World Rally Fever. All the games mentioned here can be yours for only $2.39 each!

From Kalypso, something to go with this summer's tropical heat: Tropico 3 Gold Edition, the ultimate banana republic simulation that puts the fate of an entire nation in your hands. Will you be a father to your nation, or a bloody tyrant getting fat and rich on their suffering? Since it's only a game both choices are valid and fun! Too hot for your taste? Maybe a little trip to the far north, then? In Cultures 1+2, an exploration-focused RTS series where you help a Viking tribe on they conquests around the world, you'll get the chance to cool off a bit before your brave warriors decide to invade some place near the equator. Both games can be yours for only $3.99 each.

That's not all. More titles await on our promo page, so make sure you go there and take a look. The promo lasts until Tuesday, August 13, at 3:59AM GMT. Have a great weekend!

Special Promo: The Witcher series 75% off!
Today, you can start killing monsters.

The Witcher: Enhanced Edition and The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings, the first two chapters in the gritty RPG series from CD Projekt RED, following the morally ambiguous deeds of the white-haired monster slayer Geralt of Rivia, are available 75% off on GOG.com. That's $2.49 for the first and $4.99 for the second title, until Monday, August 26, at 3:59AM GMT.

Weekend Promos at GOG - Page 2 4880d0c7e92d46002291c749b8a33e83fbccd01f_smallGeralt is a wandering monster slayer from the order of the witchers. In a perfect world he would travel from one village to another, killing ghouls and wyverns for a hefty pouch of gold, celebrating his victories with fine mead and ale at local inns, and then waking up each morning (or noon) next to the woman he loves. But the world of The Witcher is far from perfect -- teeming with hatred, dark magic, cruelty, prejudice, dirty politics and outright stupidity. But all the things that make Geralt’s life harder contribute to one of the most vivid, believable game worlds in cRPG history.

The third game in CD Projekt RED hit series, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is coming DRM-free to GOG.com in 2014. Have you seen its recently released CGI trailer titled "Killing Monsters"? Take a moment to immerse yourself in the atmospheric vision of Geralt's grim and unwelcoming world.

While you wait for the third, why don't you give a shot at the first two? Both games are third-person perspective action-RPGs highly praised for their rich environment, mature story, memorable and lifelike characters, and succulent dialogue. Get both The Witcher: Enhanced Edition and The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings for only $7.48, or separately at $2.49 and $4.99 accordingly. That's whole 75% off, until Monday, August 26, at 3:59AM GMT.

genki...I was browsing along and saw your post re the Witcher-1 and Witcher-2.  I read thru your comments and was sooo impressed, I went over to GOG and bought both of them for the fantastic price of 7.48.

I had been wondering whether I wanted them, but the reviews were great and along comes this big sale on them.  I would have missed it, if you hadn't posted it with your excellent review, so thanks bunches.  Two thumbs up

I was Mariannequilts at BF and everyone calls me Marianne.  Couldn't use marianne here...was told it is already in use.  Nora is my middle name...so there you have it.

    BREAK BREAK BREAK

NORAD HEADQUARTERS HAS DETECTED SUSPICIOUS TRANS-DIMENSIONAL ACTIVITIES ON SENSORS; SUSPECTED INFESTATION OF NONCORPOREAL ALIENS IMMINENT

    Prepared remarks from CENTCOMHQ
    Good Morning, Gentlemen

Weekend Promos at GOG - Page 2 27b5f3766a34153e5817842f9a4e790a20c5c3cf_smallAs of 0615 hours this morning, we have confirmed massive signs of a noncorporeal invasion force that is determined to directly hijack our entertainment and slowly invade everyone's minds. Fast work by some of our Unusual Circumstances SpecOps team has funneled these aliens into a containable area, though. We have managed to secure them in a select list of video games--specifically titles like Deus Ex, Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver, Thief™ Gold, Anachronox, and a few more--and the non-corporeal aliens are currently inhabiting the enemy A.I. routines. That means we can find them, we can fight them, and we can kill them.

The space-time rift that the aliens are using to invade is unstable and our physicists project that it will close on Monday the 16th September at 23:59.59 Eastern Time. CENTCOM has arranged for a video game retailer to steeply discount the usual price of these titles to facilitate intervention--they're all 60% off for the duration of the invasion.

You've been contacted because you're part of the elite few who can handle an assignment like this: we need you to buy these games, install them, get in there, and kick some alien butt. The world's counting on you, soldier.

    Go get 'em.

If just one plate leaves you hungry for more, there's no point in denying yourself seconds. Everything on the menu is 60% off, this weekend. We know you'd like to go ahead and dig in, so let's just name a few dishes from our Strategy First and Seconds weekend promo, shall we?

We've got games from the Jagged Alliance series, if you like army rations served with a rich turn-based tactical sauce. We've got Space Empires IV Deluxe and O.R.B. Offworld Resource Base, if your taste in strategy calls for something otherworldly exotic. There's also some hot and spicy auto racing in Flatout, for those of you who like fast food. Finally, there's some all-time American favorites smelling of grilled beef, BBQ sauce, and popcorn in Pro Pinball: Big Race USA. What a delight!

Sounds yummy, doesn't it? But that's only a small taste! Go to our Strategy First and Seconds promo page to sample the whole 60% off buffet! The promo lasts until Tuesday, October 1, at 3:59AM GMT. Don't miss out on the feast!

    Weekend Promo: Point-and-click-a-thon
Get To The Moon, The Longest Journey, The Book of Unwritten Tales, and many more amazing adventure titles 60% off!

Weekend Promos at GOG - Page 2 282fe23649624f7762cb9d22916e085d5fd42aad_smallAre you up for an adventure? Come, join our delightful Point-and-click-a-thon! If you were to install one of these fancy mouse cursor distance trackers, you could easily see that playing point-and-click games is like running a marathon for your tabletop rodent. The more you play, the more exercise it gets. So, in the spirit of keeping your computer peripherals (and probably your wrists) fit and healthy, we offer you a vast selection of excellent workouts. We've prepared 16 fantastic adventure games, out of which 13 have the time-proven point-and-click interface, and all of them can be yours with a hefty 60% off discount, this weekend. Let's take a look at some of them, shall we?

To the Moon is a unique indie adventure with lots of original puzzles and nostalgic SNES-era RPG aesthetics. The gameplay focuses on exploration of a vast world supported only by a dying man's fading memories. All of the interaction focuses on restoring and altering those pale fragments, filtering out the false ones, and--ultimately--allowing the patient to re-live a perfected version of his life in his mind. How much to visit the Earth's natural satellite? Only $3.99!

One of the most memorable and cherished titles in the history of adventure gaming is The Longest Journey, a magical story of two very different worlds, that seem to be doomed to collide. April Ryan, a young arts student, unwillingly drawn into an inter-dimensional intrigue, is the only person who can make a difference. What she doesn't know embarking on her quest, is that there's much more than meets the eye to each of the worlds, and that they're not as far apart as the first impression suggests. The game is available for only $3.99 this weekend. The phenomenal story had to wait six long years for continuation, but it finally arrived in the form of Dreamfall: The Longest Journey, a gorgeous and powerful vision that just begs to be explored. Yours for only $5.99.

The Book of Unwritten Tales uses the time-tested point-and-click adventure mechanics to present us with an unending series of gags and puns hitting the bulls eye on the fantasy cliche targets. The story, the characters, the settings, and the dialog--everything in this game is a twisted image of the fantasy meta-realm present in our popular culture. It does not stop at that! While constantly making fun of other fantasy games, it's very successful in being a good and enjoyable fantasy game on its own. There's an intriguing story to follow, lots of creative puzzles to solve, and plenty of gorgeous locations to explore. Whether you're looking for some lighthearted laughs or pensive puzzles, this game has you covered! It's excellent expansion, that can by all means "stand-alone", is present in this promo as well. Each of them will cost you only $7.99.

That's only a small warm-up for the full Point-and-click-a-thon. Run to the promo page to see the full selection of adventure games you can get with 60% off discount this weekend. Don't wait, because the promo lasts only until Tuesday, October 22, at 3:59AM GMT, and your mouse cursor has many miles to cover!
