Re-release all the things (get 75% off everything)!

Like a gust of pleasant, evercool breeze - Nordic Games return to GOG.com... for good this time. A 30+ strong re-addition to our catalog calls for a big hoorah, so nearly every Nordic title in on sale all weekend long, all at 75% off!

The Spellforce series delivers a mix of RTS/RPG in an epic, high-fantasy saga. Spellforce, Spellforce 2: Shadow Words, Dragon Storm, and Demons of the Past combined are an immense collection of story driven questing, memorable characters, and strategy. Painkiller Black Edition is the unmistakably old-school, no-holds-barred First Person Shooter in one hell of a demonic package. Take on hordes of fallen angels and hellhounds with the assortment of powerful, well designed weapons that slice through and explode your enemies. Then, there is The Black Mirror and The Black Mirror 2 a pair of dark murder-mystery adventures that open up a dark and captivating evil of the Black Mirror Castle. It's also a good time to pick up the entire series with the just-released Black Mirror 3 and it's 75% off series competition deal.

All that is, of course, only the tip of the iceberg. Nordic Returns to GOG.com, and just about every title can be yours at a flat 75% off! The promo ends on Tuesday, May 12, 3:59 AM GMT.

25-75% off Blackguards 1+2, Grim Fandango, Wasteland 2, The Vanishing of Ethan Carter and more!

Friday, Friday, Friday! Big names, big games and a gold-winning weekend promo: Big Hitters - with major league deals on all-star titles - we've got a team of 12 impressive players at discounts anywhere from 25-75% off. It's starting to get a little sportsball in here, so lets just get into the specifics.

Grim Fandango Remastered is a unique blend of Mexican folklore with film noir stylings - widely considered to simply be the best adventure game ever made. The Vanishing of Ethan Carter is a first-person story-driven mystery game that focuses entirely on exploration, discovery, atmosphere, and the essential humanity of our characters rather than combat or explosions. Wasteland 2 is the direct sequel to 1988’s Wasteland, the first-ever post-apocalyptic computer RPG and the inspiration behind the Fallout series. Then, there is Blackguards 1 + 2, where the Dark Eye gazes upon you - a deep, tactical turn-based strategy series that offers an unprecedented amount of choice on the battlefield.

That's not even half of what we have on offer this week, so don't miss your chance to pick up this weekend's Big Hitters: recent games and respectable discounts from 25-75% off! The promo ends on Tuesday, May 19, 3:59 AM GMT.

Up to 80% off Rise of the Triad (2013), F.E.A.R. Platinum, Mortal Kombat, Unreal Tournament, and more!

Shooters, slashers, guts and gory! Crazy insane or insane crazy, when we say promo, you say frenzy - it's a true seasonal May(hem) with the biggest guns, bloodiest gibs, and deals from 50-80% off! May we cause ALL the chaos this weekend.

If we're talking insanity, then F.E.A.R. Platinum is where we should start: a mindbending threat and badass slowmo combos come together for that perfect blend of "I don't know what I'm doing, but I ain't stopping." If we're talking frantic - then the fast and precise Unreal Tournament games are there to scratch the old-school itch whether you're in it for the gibs or the glory; and if you look up "gory" in the dictionary, you'll find a picture of Mortal Kombat next to a severed spine - go ahead, it's a fine way to set the weekend promo mood.

Finally, since we're on the topic of mayhem, then we can't help but think Rise of the Triad 2013: unapologetically old-school, it's the only modern, moddable, multiplayer and mayhem filled title that connects players across both Steamworks and GOG Galaxy. With the latest update (coming super-soon, like today), there's no better time to get weird, get wild and GET LUDICROUS.

All that and more, including SiN Gold, Aliens Versus Predator Classic 2000, Rise of the Triad, Shadow Warrior and so much more, are here to cause every kind of unseemly circumstance and the ultimate May(hem). 25 games at 50-80% off are on sale until Tuesday, May 26, 3:59 AM GMT.

60% off Descent, Freespace, MDK, Earthworm Jim, Giants: Citizen Kabuto and more!

Knees weak, arms are heavy. There's discounts on our website already, mom's spaghetti. This weekend things get nervous and serious as a catalog containing some of our greatest classics levels up, and gets really, really TENSE. It's discounts at a flat 60% off, complete with a fresh batch of bonus goodies to complement your games! [interplay intensifies]

We loove giving you more bang for your buck, and we love going the extra mile just for a chance to see all the various goodies and materials that make up gaming history. Among today's games on promo you can find the following goodness:

--Battle Chess 1 + 2 get manuals and a reference card! While the game in DOSBox does have an online manual of sorts, this PDF of the original manual is much nicer to look at and gives a better feel for the original game. The reference card provides players with some basic tips that are not found in the manual that delve deeper into how the game works. All in pristine condition that gives players all of the necessary information required to master the game.

--Die By The Sword Cuss Pack is an official Interplay patch of sorts that adds expletives to the main character's sound files making for a more visceral dying experience.

--The MDK "Making of" booklet (donated by user lmfsilva, thanks!) gives a detailed background into the company known as Shiny Entertainment, along with some details about the creation of the first MDK title.

--Redneck Rampage gets the Rides Again manual (donated by Foxhack!) - a manual with additional information on the expansion for Redneck Rampage.

--And finally, there is the Stonekeep Thera Awakening Novella: An important piece of history that is quite heavily referenced to inside the actual game. While it is possible to complete the game without this novella, the experience without it is simply not the same. You can also read the whole thing in German, thanks to the generous Kilmex.

[interplay intensifies] with tons of new bonus goodies for some of the greatest Interplay hits ever, including more classics like the Descent series, Earthworm Jim, Giants: Citizen Kabuto, and more! Everything on sale until Tuesday, June 2, 3:59 AM GMT.
