So glad things are better today Genki. How are your daughters handling all of this?

Great news about your sis and Grandma, genki!
Hope everyone continues to improve, and my toes are still crossed for you to get the dream home.

Well, my youngest wouldn't understand the situation since she doesn't speak, but she's pretty upset about being cooped up at home here this weekend -- Sis does respite for us, you see Eldest we didn't tell until AFTER sis got released from the hospital. She would have freaked out!

Re: How's Your Day Going?
We found a house, we found a house! We found... THE ONE! It was such a depressing day, with all of the places we were interested in pending sale, but then an unexpected foray late this afternoon, and my husband spotted a For Sale by Owner sign we hadn't seen before. We both knew the moment we walked in the house that this was the place we wanted to be.
We have some *grumble grumble* paperwork that the bank needs before we can make an offer, but things are looking up! Now we just pray that all of the paperwork gets here soon, that everything checks out with the house, and that he'll accept our offer!
Wheeee~!!

Re: How's Your Day Going?
I took today off because my youngest (17) had her first Grand mal seizure at 9:48 last night. We called the paramedics, took her to the hospital in an ambulance, and stayed at the hospital 'til about 2:30 AM. What a frightening and exhausting night it was =_=
They've adjusted her seizure meds and told us to get her in to her neurologist at Doernbecher's ASAP... Except that their "ASAP" won't be until April I'm content to stick with that appointment as long as the increase in meds works, but if she continues to have seizures, you can bet I'll be harassing them until I get a sooner appointment!

April is a very long time. I'm sure the seizure was scary as all get out for you. I hope the medicine works well and she doesn't have another one. Good luck!

Re: How's Your Day Going?
So sorry Genki! I hope she is doing better. I can't believe you can't see the Dr until April. That is absurd. I have no doubt you will get in before then if needed!!

I hope the increase in the meds works well, Genki, and I'm sorry you have to wait until April, but hopefully the meds will take care of your daughter. Fingers crossed!

Re: How's Your Day Going?
How is your daughter doing? Was the Grand Mal seizure from epilepsy?
I had read that migraines and epileptic seizures were related. I must agree
that waiting until April is rather nerve wracking.
Hope the medicine does its job.

Re: How's Your Day Going?
She's been doing pretty well, but she's been really fussy since the grand mal. I wish she could tell us what's wrong, but... *shrugs helplessly*
We've known that she's had a seizure disorder since she was about 3, but they were very mild, and completely controlled by her seizure medication. She had actually been having seizure activity for a while before the grand mal, I just didn't realize what it was -- just thought it was one of her many quirks. :(

Mine was interesting. I was going through old bookmarks and found the link to here and was amazed it still worked. Anyone remember me?

I sure do! Good to see you, Eddy!
Things are pretty quiet here nowadays, but even when I don't post, I'm still checking in daily.

The Dark & Eerie crowd made their home here for quite a while after Big Fish closed their forum, but as I got too busy to make daily updates, they drifted away. Maybe to Pond Friends? I'm not sure.
