Oh my gosh, it's a horrible thing.

I get so paranoid when it comes to any kind of food bacteria. I have heard of e-coli, salmonella, botulism, and the usual suspects.

Though I don't buy the brands affected by the recall (so far), no more ice cream for the hubs and I. He loves his ice cream, too. I don't eat it often.

Thanks everybody. Things still seem sad and weird, but I think that will be how it is for a while now.

Anyway, I started to play Lost Lands: Four Horsemen twice now and it just bugs me for some reason. Maybe it's because our character looks a little too much like Sarah Palin? The hermit guy thinks we are just some fragile female? I dunno. I'm going to stop playing it for a while and see about finding a different game. I just can't get into this one.

You guys liked it though, didn't you? Is it worth my time to give it a third try later on?

DJ, my hubs is paranoid about food bacteria too. Makes it fun to take him to family get-togethers!  Though I must confess, I rarely eat treats brought in by students. You just never, ever know!

Thanks everyone. I was grieving pretty hard over Bubba, and this silly boy has helped me more than he knows.

Well, she's a little out of sorts. Finch won't leave her alone. He's still got his hormones out of whack since his neutering on Friday and she has raw ears from her allergies that he won't stop licking. She's exhausted... it's sort of funny though. When we got her she used to drive our older boy nuts so it's like pay back time. I'm sure it will all settle down eventually though.

    Thanks for asking!

How is everyone doing?    Finally,  warm weather is here,    unusually warm weather    Dark & Eerie Games Thread - Page 26 Animated-smileys-weather-009

I have been playing games I really enjoy. I played the latest Puppetshow #159.
I think its because they finally changed the story line that I enjoyed it.
I am now playing the new Haunted Hotel: Eternity and finding the story intriguing,
especially as Det. Glory Hog is not included. Okay

Well, hope soon everyone can stop in, I miss you all.

    Hi everybody!

Esme, love your new big-boy! He's so darn cute! Laugh

We've got a lot going on here & I haven't been gaming much. I'm now replaying The Fog because I enjoyed it so much the first time around and it's a freakin' good scary game.

Gosh, the tech issues on recent releases are terrible. I've only bought one CE game and it was the new Amaranthine Voyage.
The demo of Ominous Objects 2 refused to play on my computer after the first HO scene. Weird thing was...the beta played fine. Huh?

I had another game...hmm, can't remember the title...I think I was almost finished, got to the robot arm and the damn game froze up on me. I went to the BF game forum for that game and apparently, numerous people have reported problems with the stupid robot arm.
So, techie me (NOT), did the only thing I could think of...uninstalled it (hopefully, completely) and I'll reinstall it eventually.

I did play the new Redemption Cemetery SE. I'll just say I've got a few other ERS SE's and I'm in NO hurry at all to play them. They're at the bottom of my list and will stay there. Rolling Eyes

I hope y'all are doing well and it's good to see ya! Elk grin

I finished HH-Eternity.    I enjoyed it but the ending had me a little   Huh?

Our intrepid Detective is made an offer at the end of the game which made me smile.

The ending itself had me thinking:   "There is still a slight problem here".   Especially after
the whole story is revealed.    But if they didn't seem to concerned,   then I guess I won't
    worry about it.
I tell you,  though.   We really get some accommodating bad guys,   cause I wasen't exactly
being quiet or stealthy at the end.

I cannot believe in such a short time we went from cold to really hot.   It is 80 out there,
    and humid.

Aus, on the other hand went from high 70s in the day and below 50F that same night. And stayed there (below 50) since. We are into the depths of winter without passing go (autumn) at all, and we are still a month from winter! Gonna be a long hard season for me I guess.

Sure, it snowed here - about 50 years ago for the first and only recorded time! Buried-in-snow

And I live in some of the coldest areas in Australia! I have never seen snow, and a large percentage of Australians haven't.

We have a long mountain range that runs down the eastern side of the country, separating the populous areas (with decent weather) from the tip of Aus to it's lowest points down there. I think there are half a dozen mountains high enough down near that end that are high enough for you to ski etc. most but not all years.

We may be a new nation, but geologically speaking land is ancient and outranks almost everywhere in terms of age. So everything is worn down flat.

Boy that was barely English. Don't know what happened there, but I should have proofed it BEFORE I clicked Send.

Short answer: No, it doesn't snow in Aus anywhere except for a few mountains down south, where the cold and height actually allow such shenanigans.

While you are unlikely to see a kangaroo sunning themselves on a beach (they prefer to sloth just like that in low scrub with wide clear areas... you WILL see 1000s of miles that look like that on every coastline of our fair land.

See why we're the Lucky Country?
