Posting images using Flickr, this post
    Using Imageshack.us, next post.

If you have a yahoo account, you have a Flickr account. It's easy enough to sign up for, either way.

After you upload images to Flickr, click on the image you want to post until you see an option to view it full sized. Do so, and once you do, you will be able to get the image properties - just right-click on the image and choose "Copy Image Location".

Once you have the location copied, come here to the forum, click on the little picture above where you're posting that looks like a polaroid (to the left of the link icon), paste the information, and click OK.

    Done~!

    Benefits of Flickr:

    • Access your images at any time - just bookmark your page
    • Upload multiple images at once
    • Ability to sort images to categories to keep things tidy

To add images via ImageShack, do the following:

Go to ImageShack and upload files - very easy, just do what it says.

Once you've loaded your image(s), click on the image to make it full-sized, then copy the image properties - If you don't see a link, just right-click on the image and choose "Copy Image
    Location".

Once you have the location copied, come here to the
forum, click on the little picture above where you're posting that looks
like a polaroid (to the left of the link icon), paste the information,
    and click OK.

    Done~!

    Benefits of Imageshack:

    • Ability to upload multiple images at once, and get all of the image properties at once (there will be a list with links to all of the images
    • Quick and easy, and no need for an account

There are other free image-hosting websites, these are just the two I know off the top of my head Big smile

The two previous posts were made before I knew that we have FREE image-hosting right here on GGG!  It's very easy, and I'll just walk you through it.

    1. Click on the "Host an image button" in the toolbar above the posting box.How to Post Images on the Forum Host_a10

    2. You'll get a pop-up that looks like this:
How to Post Images on the Forum Image_10
    3. As the image says, click on the Browse button, then find the image on your computer, select it, then choose Open.

    4. Click on the Host it button.  You'll now see something similar to this:

    5. Copy the address in the bottom box.  I don't use the Copy button on the right-hand side.  Just click on the URL in the bottom box -- it will highlight the whole thing.  Then click on ctrl-c to copy.

    6. Click on the Insert Image button How to Post Images on the Forum Insert10  You'll see something like this:
How to Post Images on the Forum Image_12
Paste the URL into that top box, then click on insert.

Voilà, you have posted an image!  To add more than one image, start the process over again.  When you click on the Host an Image button, you'll still see the URL for the last image you added.  Just click on the Upload button at the bottom to start the process with a new image.
