Japanese "Dorama" (aka Drama - the live action
shows):
Hanazakari no Kimitachi e (aka Hanakimi, aka For You in Full Blossom)
Nodame Cantabile (Nodame is short for "Noda Megumi", the main
character's name)
Zettai Kareshi (Absolute Boyfriend)
Galileo - Detective teaming up with a college professor to solve unusual crimes
I'm watching my fifth Dorama right now, but am undecided on how I feel
about it thus far.
The dorama can be downloaded via MIRC or direct download via SARS Fansub. I have downloaded an
incredible amount of shows from SARS' irc channel, and never had a
problem with a single item.
I do NOT watch dubbed (taking out the original language and adding English) Japanese shows. That would be like dubbing the
Japanese in The Last Samurai (Tom Cruise) into English - it would
totally kill the intent of the show! I tried to watch Inuyasha dubbed
into English and it was AWFUL! I only lasted 5 minutes. The show is
awesome in its original form, though! Subtitled (preferably by a
fan-subbing group... assuming that it's not licensed in English, of
course) is the way to go! MUCH better!
