REPORT FROM THE COAL FACEby your roving reporter Justie New eggs in the cave...I could never have imagined the many ways such an event could affect life in the cave!
First, of course, everyone stops whatever else they're doing, to rush off to the cave and grab the first arrivals. There, you are confronted, with not the usual three captioned but not visible eggs, but with a sign saying there are no eggs here! What?! There are
ALWAYS eggs in the cave, right? Well, not at the moment it seems.
Then, at intervals, some of the biomes (different habitats in the cave) start receiving egg drops. Suddenly, there are eggs with totally new but intriguing captions. My favourite is "This egg makes you feel a bit uneasy".
If you're lucky, and fast, you can grab yourself one or more of these little mysteries for yourself and head on back to what you were doing. Of course, if you were, as I was, in the abandoned cave, you may not recognize it either!
In the abandoned cave, the strangest things start happening...
Eggs of even the most sought-after breeds are sitting there, being ignored! Hatchlings of all kinds, are dropping in one after another - 3, 4, more in each refresh!
So wild! Then it gets even crazier - the short term eggs with only a few days or even hours left, every breed again. Hatchlings only hours from maturity!
Over the next hour, the hatchlings dried up completely, not even a wild black dragon more than one each hour or two! And remain AWOL still. But the eggs keep coming and coming and coming... even 24 hours later,
48 hours later, the eggs are coming through the abandoned cave at
4 days 16 15 10 hours - average! And short term eggs of preferred breeds still just sit there.
What a circus!! Yeah, but it was fun!
