Well crap!  And you did retrace your steps to see if it's back where it started and/or still in your inventory (there's sometimes a second page of inventory items)?

I still have the fertilizer in my inventory - well, the idea of it anyway. But a while back I collected it as a bat and spread it.

Now if I try doing it again, Mona says "I did that already!" in her impatient voice.  Rolling Eyes

Use it on the planter box again, see if it works.

Nope, doesn't work. I even went back to the lab to see if I could "pick up" more fertilizer, but it's not there any more.

There are apparently several patches that one can apply for various bugs but I'm not sure I want to go that route. I may start again from a previous save. But not tonight; I'm done playing.

I looked, and can't find where they are, but if you can figure out where the saved game files are, I'd be happy to send you one of mine from that part of the game!

Okay-dokey I finished the game!  Yahoo! Although, by the end the cut scenes weren't working for me and the controls had slowed down even more (it never played perfectly for me). I watched the ending on YouTube to get the entire story.

Fun game, though I'm really not a fan of the chapter-at-a-time releasing, especially since this game out in 2008 and there's *still* no Chapter 2.  Yeah right

Ready for something else...  Evil Grin

Yay! I'm sorry that you had troubles with the game, but you did have fun with it, yes?

When would you like to start TLJ?

I loved the side characters, like the random woman from New Jersey  Huh?,  and the "lady of the night" was voiced by someone who sounded just like a raspy Mary Steenburgen, hehe.

There's been a change in my weekend plans and I'm going to be out all day tomorrow, but I can install TLJ and get started whenever you're all ready... bearing in mind that, again, it's a long game, so definitely won't be finished in a few days.  Smile

    *SPOILERS*

Speaking of which, I was so entertained by the exchanges between the "nail salon" lady and the band director that I totally forgot that I was supposed to be doing something until they devolved into shouting one-word insults at each other Belly laugh

That was hysterical!! Belly laugh You can relive it here:

Another funny moment - Froderick soooo unconvincing as, ahem, a little girl  flutter eyelashes Snicker

    Here's a teaser for A Bat's Tale, letting us know it's a whole trilogy <sigh> But he's such a cutie!

I don't care if it's a trilogy, I just want to play moooore! Laugh  I was sad to see that their kickstarter (think I mentioned this in my review) didn't go well last year, I just hope they manage to get the rest of the game(s) done with the same quality as this first one!

Aw, I do care if it's a trilogy that never gets finished, though. What if Mona never gets back to Paris? Shock

After playing this, I realllllly want Ghost Pirates of Vooju Island, which was made after Vampyre.  I thought I'd add it to my birthday wish list, and popped over to Amazon, since I have family members who like to shop there.

Holy crap!  I can get it brand new for about 5 bucks! Check it out!  I'm buying it for myself as a Valentine's present Belly laugh  Paid a whole $4.94 for a brand new boxed copy~!

Great - I look forward to your impressions, Genki. It received "meh" reviews so I'm not jumping on it right now...

My Amazon order (for Ghost Pirates of Vooju Island) fell through -- supposedly the box was "damaged", but when I offered to take the damaged product (providing that the CD inside was OK), I got no answer Yeah right

The next time there's a 1/2 off sale at GH, I'll buy it from them.
