I understand you did not receive a punch for Bluebeard's Castle: Son of the Heartless. You've come to the right place for help!  I'm sorry about any confusion, but the reason you did not get a punch on your Punch Card for that purchase is because you got that game with a Punch Card coupon code.

Who is eligible?

Everyone who purchase games is eligible to earn punches, but you must be an active member of Big Fish Game Club at the time of your 6th punch to get your Punch Card coupon code for a free game. To qualify, all games must be purchased on the same account, using the same email address.

Punches cannot be earned for purchasing a Gift Certificate, additional Game Club credit, or redeeming a Punch Card coupon.

This will change the way you manage your game purchases if you're still a member at BF.

Hi All - Hope everyone is well and having a break from the weather.

I was just at BF, used a PCC & only received ONE Bonus Punch also.  (The game page & demo says its 'Bonus Punch Monday' &  if I got the game I 'would'  receive a Bonus Punch but didn't.)  Am  getting ready to email BF about this now & will let you know.

So you DID get a (single) punch for your PCC?

Yes I've known about this for a while. It really doesn't make financial sense for them to give you bonus punches when you're not spending $$.

Hi Genki.  Thank you...have been sick with the flu for almost 2 months (DH & myself).  Am feeling human again finally. 

Yes... I used a PCC today and received ONE Bonus Punch.  I just emailed BF CS,  said I purchased a game using a PCC, was only given one Bonus Punch (instead of two punches) as 'advertised', asked them to please correct this mistake & credit my account the Bonus Punch as clearly advertised.  Bonus Punch Mondays are 'still' advertised, so this would be 'false' advertising. When I clicked on 'send' it said "That's a tough question!  No answers were available in our help articles.  Your question has been submitted."   Am waiting on a reply from CS & will let everyone know exactly what BF says.  I declare, it seems like BF is 'intentionally' trying to make their customers mad....again!  I'm only a member at 'times', drop out until a sale is on, then rejoin back. I've done this since BF pulled the plug on the forums.

Hi RMom.  Good to see you!  Your right...it doesn't make 'financial sense' for BF to give bonus punches when not spending money, but BF made those rules a long time ago, knew what they were doing, and are now changing their rules in 'mid-stream'.  Until the advertisments for bonus punch Mondays are changed, that is 'legally' false advertising.

Seems that back on 2/20 BFG did away with giving regular punches when using PCC (see up top highlighted in yellow here BFG help) but they chose to do it without notifying members  . You do get a "bonus" punch for using a PCC on Mondays......... for now. I'm sure they will do away with that without notification, too. They just seem to keep digging themselves a deeper ditch every time they decide to change something.

Received a reply today from BF about Double Punch Mondays.  Their reply/explanation is below:

"We are reaching out to customers who have contacted us about issues getting a Bonus Punch while purchasing a game with a Big Fish Game Club Monthly Punch Card coupon code.  We apologize for any confusion.  There were recent changes to the Big Fish Game Club Monthly Punch Card program.  Punches cannot be earned for redeeming a Punch Card coupon, buying a gift Certificate, or buying an additional Game Club credit.  Punch Card coupon redemptions are eligible for bonus punches during a Bonus Punch Promotion.  When a Punch Card coupon is used during a Bonus Punch Promotion 1 punch will be added".

That's the explanation for today anyway.  Were these 'recent changes' announced at BF?  I'm not there much anymore so don't know.  It sounds like there might be 'more' changes in the works the way this is worded.  I'm curious if everyone who contacted BF about the Bonus Punches received the same reply I did.   Who knows anymore.

I think I used a PCC Monday...can't remember if I got a bonus punch or not.

Not just like it was before.  BEFORE we got a punch for buying a game with a PCC, PLUS a bonus punch (two punches for one code.)  Now it's no punch for buying a game, but we still get the bonus punch (one punch for one code.)

Oh, okay. So, if we use a PCC anytime, we'll get a punch for it? Or is it only on Mondays?

Never mind, I get it now.

If you use a pcc on mondays, you get a single punch. Any other time, zip. Spend actual money and you get 2 punches (or 4 for CEs) on mondays, 1 (3) punches any other day.
