now THAT was a cold call ..

There is no one in RL to tell this to 

but is so weird and funny in a macabre way >>> I had to tell someone.


I've been besieged by robocalls lately

Unbelievably so ...

Even got calls from HMO's and The Trump Campaign  !!!!  ( boo hiss, 45 ...  as if    )

Please note ... I am in Canada !!!! duh !!!


But THIS is THE WEIRDEST yet, by far.


NOTE :  salesmen in every business make cold calls.


The onslaught of calls has been relentless ... 

so much so that for a time I " unplugged " from 8 am to 8 pm !!

However,  as they seem to have stopped, I'm no longer doing that.  ( for now anyway )


BUT ... if the number is unknown ....  unservice resumed. 


Today it rang ... grrr... but for some reason I answered ...

The man was looking for someone with my last name and my dad's initials,

saying that this person had reached out to him expressing interest in the Stock Market.

I whooped with laughter and hung up after telling him " Boy, did YOU get the wrong number. "


We NEVER had extra cash for that !!!

AND .. my dad died in 1997 !!!!!


THAT IS A VERY COLD CALL !!!!!  

I usually hang up when it's evident that the person on the other end is in a call center, but everrrry now and then it's actually someone I need to talk to... It just doesn't happen very often!
