I'm b3nderz, or benderz, or Fred if you would like. I'm from south of the France, along the Road to the Sun and I'm turning 32 in few days.
I'm a video game player, you can find me on Steam but you could see me on GOG and Desura. We'll probably speak about video games later, so long story short : I'm a FPS player, fighting games fan, open world/sandbox addict and I love take part of Early Access releases.
I like watching movies. Something like Fight Club, Snatch, Usual Suspect are definitively my things. I'm watching some TV Shows too : The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones or How I Met Your Mother. I was a Manga reader, but it was a long time ago I stopped reading them. Today I'm reading The Walking Dead comic books and that's it.
Regarding music, I'm in full love of underground electronic musics, got two turntables at home to enjoy it at any time !

I finished playing Alien: Isolation recently. I like point and click games- I am now playing
J.U.L.I.A: Among the Stars. Not sure if you already know this, (I just found this out
myself) but someone on the JULIA discussion forum asked about the song at the end and
it is by Metamorphisis. Led to a website called Bandcamp. Looks very interesting.
I am foxyfifty over on Steam.
I will be watching Twilight Zone this morning. They are showing one with Leonard Nimoy.
Still in shock over his death.

Hi! I'm not on the forums very often, but I'm BloomingLilac on Steam and GOG. I think my ID is the same on Desura.

The Usual Suspects is one of the best movies I've ever seen. Love the twists in that one!

I play FPS, survival horror, casual (usually Time Management), and sandbox games as well. Don't Starve and System Shock 2 are on my list of favorites. 

If you ever need someone to play co-op, I've got Don't Starve Together and PayDay: The Heist on Steam. Just bought Grim Dawn, but it needs some work in the optimization department. :-) I also have Dead Island. Haven't played that one for a while.

I'm new here, coming from the GOG forums thanks to Genki's promotion of the gameplays. I'm also on Steam and some years ago I was on BFG too but I never posted much.

I use madth3 on these comunities and as it might be unpronounceable I won't be offended if you leave a letter off.  

I'm not a hardcore gamer but last year I started dedicating my gaming time to less cassual gaming.
I like puzzle games, platformers, adventures but also some FPS every now on then, I'm entering RPGs too. I stay away from strategy as it consumes much time and I'm not very good at it.

I see luvetoread discovered Bandcamp which is a great place to find music. I recently downloaded the extra tracks for Machinarium since they are free.
The soundtrack for Nihilumbra (a game I know Genki likes) is also there.

Anyway, I should stop for now as it's getting late here, but I look forward to chatting with you.

Yep, I arrived to BFG five years ago looking for a Match-3 game with a plus and I liked the demo of "The Adventures of Mary Ann: Lucky Pirates".

I spent a bit less of two years as a member enjoying some good HOGs and other games.

Hi...I'm Marianne.  Many of my Steam and GOG friends all got to know each other at BFG.  We learned to play the HOGs and then decided to venture into the Adventure games and we formed a group called Adventurous Fish (Fish cause of being at BF).  BF quit selling Adventure games, so we moved to Challengers where we have a place called Adventurous Fish.  Then we were fortunate to find Genki's place here. YAY

Hi Everyone, I'm ddr_cyclone102 or just cyclone or Deb if you prefer, I don't much care either way. I remember some of you from BF, and I'm glad that I found a place that talks about dark and eerie games...I missed you all so much. Any ways I am 36 years old and will be 37 later this year. I love the  Usual Suspects, it is one of my favorite movies of all times. I'll take this over Scarface any day. I'm still at BF and play HOG and I love Nancy Drew, just purchased one today matter fact. I like all kinds of games and music, well that's enough about me for now. TTYL

I stopped in to look at Genki's List of Developers (love that list!). Loads of useful information around here.

It's very casual and we pretty much talk about anything...and games, of course, as most of us still buy games from BFG.
And, we can even say the developer's name! We don't have to use code words.

The BF site isn't the same since they got rid of all the social boards, so I'm glad to have been guide to this place so that I can chat with all you awesome people. Originally hooked up on BFG social chat plus avid game player of only 5 yrs, so many have much more experience...still a member but barely purchase games, went from 10-12 a month, now barely two! Probably do not need to be a member as the site is 'SALE' driven which is not a bad thing if on a budget.
