Yeah, Justie, French Creole,
and Cajuns are originally from Canada,
Acadia, French Canadian.
It's weird in New Orleans because
some Orleanians pronounce, for example,
Chartres Street,
you will hear a pronunciation like Rue Chartray
from some natives and Charters from others.

Re: Dragon Cave (FREE) thread #2
I have always loved language, any language, and I often try to imagine living in a place where knowing 2 or more languages is normal - these days, that's just about anywhere in the world, lol, seeing everyone online must have at least some English.
But multilingual schools, shops offices etc, that's a very recent change in Aus. Here, I have spent most of my life being unusual because I spoke 3. Now, of course, all the immigration has made bilingualism normal here too.

Twins!? ABSO BLOODY LUTELY!
At least 20 hours before another hatching for me! Can't do anything now until my hatchlings start maturing in about 12 hours. Suppose I should go to bed!
I will catch you guys again, hanging about in the cave (no longer in the pond! - why don't we meet in nice cafes or something anyway?), sometime in my night!
cheers!

Re: Dragon Cave (FREE) thread #2
When people die
they stay with us forever.
I still bring bottles of Chambord
and flowers and chocolates to
my Mother's grave in St. Louis Cemetery.
I was there for Mother's Day,
I talked to her like she still
walked among the living.
Everyone there does. It's just different.
