Frodo probably didn't add the egg to the lists yet because you must not feed them very much for the first day. Otherwise, they get sick - don't know about vampires, there's a poor little dead dragon in that shell...

By R&R I assume you mean Riddick? It's too soon. And I haven't actually done it myself, but can figure it out if Frodo disappears. But easier just to wait. We only have to worry about them getting sick, which will show up on the scroll, is easily curable, and is most likely going to be from too many clicks anyway.
Worry about the vampire egg not making it, simply because it is vampire egg. The bite only had a 5% chance of success, so don't know if that means some eggs don't hatch, or die immediately.
