12 by Nikita Mikhalkov (2007)
12 jurors must decide the fate of a Chechen teenager charged with murdering his stepfather.
Well, that's the official description up on IMDb, though not entirely accurate. My body forced me to take some downtime today, and this movie was on, so I started watching it... and was quickly sucked in to the story. The stories that come out during the deliberation process, the possibilities that they consider, the performances... This Russian movie with English subtitles is absolutely compelling in every way. I never knew what to expect next, and the way the story unfolded never allowed me a moment of boredom.
If you like drama mysteries, I definitely recommend checking this out~!
EDIT to correct repetition and grammar errors
