Downfall is a brilliant game.  VERY dark & disturbing.   EEK!
I got this when it was first released, and I'm delighted to finally see it on GOG.   Big smile
I recommend anyone to give it a try.  At that price, what have you got to loose?  Personally, I think it's better than Cat Lady.   Okay

    Here's a trailer, if anyone's interested.

Oh my gosh, I keep checking the TGT at BF, hoping for Bad Omen. I'm assuming it won't be a CE release? Anyone who's done the beta?
When I was on their fb page, I "liked" it, even though I hadn't played it. Maybe it'll speed things up a bit.
HI Smile  It's so nice to meet you and everyone.  Y'all have been great.  LOL @ cursing.  My review on BFG for the new Mystery Trackers got edited because I typed " it made a bonging noise"  meaning like a noise like a gong I guess.  Bong or bonging is politically incorrect I presume.  I got a kick out of that one.  I did the beta for Bad Omen.  No idea if it'll be a CE.  I'm thinking no.  But can't wait for it.  I'm so glad Just told me about y'all here  Two thumbs up   For now though I need  G\'night!

Oh me too!  Snicker  But you know, I'm almost afraid to demo the new Raincliff. I  Heart  the original but am not as fond of the games Elephant has turned out lately. I think I'd rather they not even mess with that wonderful Raincliff concept and create something original, kwim?

The still frames they're showing on BFG look like they're that popular but tiresome (to me) monochrome coloring... and what's with the misspell on the shop, "Flying Knifes"? It's been a long while since I've played it but I don't recall that in the first game, or am I wrong?

Lastly..<sigh>..I know I'm the lone dissenter but I really did prefer the series without the mini dog detective.  Yeah right

Happy Valentine's Day to you too.  No champagne drinking here.  Stuffing myself with cinnamon coffee cake instead.  I'd rather eat coffee cake alone ( ok with my zoo of animals here) than drink champagne with a fool  Two thumbs up  Fizzy Hearts   But I hope y'all enjoy Smile

PRESIDENT'S DAY SALE!!!   BOGO!!  Two thumbs up  I have already decided on MT  and European Mystery
( I haven't played it yet,  but thanks to JustTheFacts review,   it sounds as good as the first).

It stopped snowing here yesterday,   we didn't get hit as hard as other areas but enough of it
to close schools.   It was really blowing out there, though.   Made it feel like you were getting
hit in the face with little pieces of ice.

Woo HOOO!  It's a BOGO sale too, so I can get Raincliff and the new Dark Parables one. I love both these series.  Happy bounce

I'm bummed some of you had not-so-exciting Valentine's days. Overall, mine was okay. Got some flowers from the hubby (nothing too fancy, we picked them up at the grocery store LOL) and got a heart-shaped pizza for a late lunch/early dinner. And a card. And lots of together time... so, though it's not a fancy Hollywood type romantic day, it works just fine for my midwestern, middle-aged self!  Snicker   I just laugh because my reality is sooooo different from what I thought it would be like "once I was a grown up" or "once I got married". The best part is that I like it better this way.

Yay, waiting pays off for this here cheapskate, I adore two-fer sales!

I'm going to get Mystery Trackers: Raincliff's Phantoms and European Mystery 2!!

DH & I had a wonderful Valentine's Day! We spent time together & that trumps any gift we could get for each other!!  Wub

I'd get European Mystery as well, but I don't have a 4th CE I want, and about 30 SEs I do, so...

Our Valentine's Day consisted of ordering in Japanese food (why get dressed to go out on a freezing night and sit in a restaurant with lots of other folks when you can be cuddling at home in warm PJs?  Big smile ) and watching episodes of Sherlock together. Ahh, bliss! No flowers or chocs - after 34 years together "romance" is definitely less, um, showy. Snicker

The twofer sale looks intriguing. I'm sure I could come up with a couple of games to order. But not too many, I have such a backlog of unplayed games and I'm starting to feel kinda guilty about that... Embarrassed

JustTheFacts, your cats are beautiful! From your profile pic, they look huge! And I know you have more than two cats.

We just have the one dog, but she is a big dog. She's also a big baby!

Toby (brown/gold one) is huge! An overweight stocky Bengal - he should be tall and lithe. He's grown to 9kgs, normal for Bengals, about twice the size of a normal domestic cat. Ninja is a big girl too, at 4kg, she's the biggest girl I've had, but all bone structure and muscle on her. She's short-haired Persian. Another big breed. The other 3 are all moggies and gorgeous, but normal cat size Smile

I love dogs, but they're more work, and I'm not up to running down the street after an over exuberant bow wow!
