Ok, so I'm reading the 6th book like I said before, and I noticed something that seems kind of important to me. She is watching the Ramos house and Morelli tries to get her to leave to see him, but she won't. Isn't that kind of like her brushing Morelli off for Ranger?

I think you may be right Kac, he's always there for her, but she's always there for him too. The cop, not so much.

*Update* After laying on the couch feeling like crap all day I've finished the 7th book and decided that I absolutely despise Morelli and and positive now that Ranger is the way to go. I don't like those types of ultimatums and I think she should have shot him!!!

You are reading up a storm, aren't you?

Did you catch the stomach virus your little guy had? Hope you're feeling better soon.

They're so good I can't put them down Kac. Not the stomach virus, just a low-grade fever. Might be stress. Feeling really rundown and all lately. I suppose I'll have to see how I feel after this book, but if I were her I'd be hoppin' in bed with Ranger faster than he could say Yo.

I am still stuck on Ranger. Love the way the book ended. Not sure how I feel about Morelli at the moment. Have to read the next book to see. However, that will have to wait a little bit. I do have to do some cleaning and laundry. Stupid chores, but I'll be back to reading in no time.

I'm glad I can give you guys a laugh. I'm laughing myself silly and the kids think I'm nuts. I can see it in their eyes every time I burst out laughing while I'm reading. This is so far from my normal genre that I didn't think I would enjoy the books, but she is a great author.

    *Spoiler Book 9/Rant Book 9*

Ok so I'm 58 pages into book 9. Started reading after cleaning and eating lunch. Now I have some things I want to say, but they would spoil the book for anyone who hasn't read it so...

    Spoiler:

Ok, I feel better now. Off to do some more reading and cleaning(maybe).

I checked the local library and they didn't have the first two, but I can get them from a neighboring system.

Judging by the posts here I'm almost afraid to start reading since I am already way behind on house and yard chores. Starting an interesting series will not help with that.

Reading and games and hobbies and whatever always come before work.

I am now 137 pages into the book and all I have to say is Gah! I'm sure there will be more to say when I get farther into it, but right now everything is really crazy in this one. Still has me laughing, and maybe has me a little nervous too.

Gls you are really making me want to go back and reread them all! I forgot how much I loved this series, the last several books didn't seem up to the earlier standards IMO. BTW, I didn't like the new series with Diesel, the book is Wicked Appetite. It just didn't have the fun sexy feel that the SP novels do. I sold the whole series on ebay after I read them, so if I reread I'm gonna have to get them from the library.

OP - Well, he is. Isn't he?

Bucky - I'm reading these all from the library. I do plan on getting the Diesel & Tucker book when it comes back into the library. I'll let you know what I think about it when I read it.

Yes, I guess he is. LOL I also read a couple of "in between" books of JE's that had Diesel in them. Stephanie kinda had the hots for him too. They weren't that good though, and very, very short. I am assuming this is the same Diesel but I have't read the series.
