    RenaissanceMom mentioned that she'd love to play The Longest Journey again, and I'm game Snicker  (pun intended) since it's sitting in my unplayed "pile."

    I'll be starting a game thread for TLJ in just a moment, since it seems I never started one! OH!

    Does anyone else want to play along?  If so, when would you like to start?  We're not finished with A Vampyre Tale just yet, so tomorrow isn't going to be the best day to start Belly laugh

    Well I'm game too!
    But fair warning -- TLJ is a l-o-n-g game and a wordy one, with lots of characters and lots of dialogue. All pretty interesting, imo, and it does either fill in the back story or flesh out the present. The graphics are admittedly dated but the voice talent is outstanding, probably one of the best casts used for a game. Once you immerse yourself it's likely you'll be there for a while. And while a walkthrough or UHS may be needed once in a while, it really is fun to figure out most things for yourself.  Happy bounce

    I have the Fallout series as well, but that includes 1st person shooting.

    Anyone else have these? They terrify me, even though I had to own them, lol.

    Well, of COURSE we had to own them (the Fallout games) ... they gave them to us for FREE! Belly laugh  I'll be willing to give them a try with you~

    Just snuck my nose in Fallout. No instructions of course! But is RPG with turn based combat, so not impossible. I had some fun killing cave rats. But to progress, need to know what I'm doing. Could kill cave rats forever, but that's a bit on the boring side!!  Snicker

    I want to do a second group play with you, RM.  I'd like to give the others a few days to chime in, and besides, you still have Vampyre to finish... and the best is yet to come!  I liked the second half much more than the first.

    Great! I'll be restarting Vampyre Story ASAP (but man, that glitch really IS stupid*  Rolling Eyes ) and then will be ready to play another LFA.  Elk grin

    You let me know when that'll happen... happily, this weekend will be a lot less busy than last.



    * Having to do something in an exact, particular order almost necessitates a walkthrough and punishes you for creative gameplay. Aw, where's the fun in that?!  Yeah right

    Folks, I have been super-busy lately (as most of you know) and I'm itching to get back to our group plays!  After I finally get moved and settled in, I'm going to play Memoria -- that's first on my to-play list.  After that, I'd really love to do a group play-through of the Broken Sword series!  I have the first four Happy bounce    I have at least one GOG friend who will be joining us, too!  It should be a blast!

    I can't schedule a time and date at the moment -- just wanted to give y'all a heads-up! Sunny

    Hi Genki! RL has kept me so busy lately - I remember you were interested in a place; did you get it?

    Group plays are great! I'd be more able to join in over the summer when my work ends, though. I don't have Memoria (will read up on it though) and played the Broken Swords not so long ago... not #4 though. It didn't play well on my computer, but of course that might be different with the new computer. I still love that series so much I may join in anyway. Broken Sword is a LOT of fun!

    It's likely to be late June before I'm ready for the Broken Sword group play.  As for finding a place, we've not had any luck yet :(  We found a couple of places yesterday, but they're $200 a month more than we pay now! faints  Who can afford that??  Stress, stress, stress, stress... *sigh*

    I AM interested in Memoria(and do have it!)..(but could do the broken sword too...I have them all and would like to TRY to get through #2 and then be brave enough to not complain about #3 or #4( neither of which are point and click, I think...lol)

    I just finished #5 and loved it...

    :( So sorry to hear about your not finding a good place, Genki! (stress indeed.... Whew~! )
