I got a beta from Big Fish today by the name of Reveries: Sisterly Love, and developed by ERS.

We have a bunch of achievements, 12 collectibles ("fortunes") and three difficulty levels to choose from, casual, advanced, and hard (which you can change at any time during gameplay.)  The intro is seriously creepy, and the graphics are amazing, both during the cutscenes and during gameplay.

I was not limited to one hour of beta time (how nice!)

There is a map with 34 locations, and which shows where there are actions that need to be taken.  This IS a jump-to map.  Click on a discovered location to travel there instantly

Using a HINT during the adventure portion of the game will show you which direction to go (assuming that there is nothing you can do there at the moment.)

The first two hidden object scenes was finding pairs of items that work together, which you do by picking up one of the items and dropping it on the item it pairs with.  Next was find 15 of x-kind of item, which was interactive in a different way.

Next up was finding things by shape, then placing them in the scene (loved this one!), so we have a wide variety of hidden object scene-styles, and all are interactive in their own way(s).

I love the voices in this game, they're very well done, and so very full of character

Sadly, the demo ended after I completely finished about six scenes -- I was really enjoying myself!  Despite the eerie beginning, the game was bright and magical in a wonderful way during gameplay.  I'll absolutely be getting this one when it comes out!

If you'd like to do the beta yourself, see below:

Click Here to Download the Game

Click Here to Take the Survey (it will open the moment you close the game, though )

People will love this one! They said they love cute little animals, and this overflows with them. They said they were tired of dark games, this is full of bright and cheerful (even though your sister is gone!) scenery. Doesn't the road look like its paved with jelly beans? Maybe it is, after all there's a magical bunny and it nearly Easter!
    Unfortunately I didn't like it!

I am really looking forward to Dark Parables: The Final Cenderella! I love Blue tea and lately have DL'd all of the previous games from my account at BFG so I will be ready next week when this game is released. I hope that BFG will have it right away. Such beautiful games!

Thanks for the "reveries" link! I played the Demo. This is a beautiful game as usual from ERS but I found it just "too cute". The cuteness would delight a child who is too young to play a "dark" game. I may end up purchasing it because I love the beauty. I do wish it were a little less cute though. BTW, I really am tired of cute animal helpers or, in some cases, adult assistants who are, in fact, telling me what to do (not in this game).

I agree! "Too cute..." says it! I felt like the programmers were going overboard, being sarcastic, in response to players wanting furry little animal helpers!
But, like you, I will probably buy it, at least as an SE. It is pretty, but a typical ERS.
I am not sure about young children, that giant rabbit is freaky!

TeamTeetat, July 26, 2013 wrote:With July coming to an end, i think it might be a good idea to start another thread for upcoming games in August. I have some titles clickable which will link to the preview article if it is available on my website so you can get an idea on what to expect from the game.

Grim Tales: Bloody Mary Collector's Edition, we all know that this game is coming as it was delayed from last week. If we are lucky, we should get this gorgeous game early this month.I have played the beta version of the game myself and it was surely worth waiting for.

The second HOPA title planned to release in August is Fearful Tales: Hansel & Gretel Collector's Edition from the awesome Eipix Entertainment! “Once upon a time, in a village free of crime, two children went to the store, like any day before…”- but when your children didn't returned home; you will experience the world you couldn't imagine. The atmosphere of the game feels somewhat similar to Drawn so if you like the series, this might be worth checking out.

Times of Viking is a builder time management game set in the Viking world. The game is being developed by Seppia Interactive, the team behind Hello Venice and Lost Inca Prophecy.

After the successful release of Nightmares from the Deep sequel, Artifex Mundi is ready to release another fantastic-looking HOPA game. Clockwork Tales: Of Glass and Ink tells the story of Dr. Ambrose Ink, a researcher who tries to find the real cause behind the mysterious earthquakes. Whether this game will be a Collector's Edition or not is still unclear, but it does has a lot of potential.

Twilight Phenomena: Strange Menagerie Collector's Edition is an upcoming casual adventure game from the famous ERS Game Studios. Your cousin is being locked up in a menagerie with a mad scientist and his insane experiments; it is up to you save her!

UPDATED From the creator of Brink of Consciousness series and the popular The Fool comes a new fantasy, eye-candy casual adventure. Nearwood Collector's Edition is an unbelievably  beautiful game judging by the preview shots and the trailer released; I have no permission to give th exact date for the release but it is pretty early in August!

From the developer of Mountain Crime, Snark Busters and Twisted Lands series, Alawar Stargazeis ready to take you on another magical adventure. Forest Legends: The Call of Love Collector's Edition should be available early August!

Apart from these titles, there are three more titles which should get their releases in August but no official words have been announced yet so take these as my own predictions.

First, Awakening: The Sunhook Spire Collector's Edition- I sure do not need to explain anymore about this top HOPA series. The first beta version was released back in January and the third beta version was out last few months, Boomzap is very secretive about their upcoming games but the release date should be just around the corner.

Flights of Fancy: Two Doves Collector's Edition, this fantasy title from ERS Game Studios should be released very soon as well.

Another HOPA title is Sea of Lies: Mutiny of the Heart Collector's Edition from Eipix Entertainment, This game tells the story of pirates, love, trust and revenge - the beta version received many positive feedback; another game to looking forward to.

That's it from me for August, if there is any updated information i will edit the thread or post as comment below. We sure got a pretty busy month awaiting!

Teetat owns All About Casual Game, so the links lead to the preview threads there Sunny

Interesting that Artifex Mundi is releasing Clockwork Tales before the new Enigmatis. I betaed both, and Enigmatis: The Mists of Ravenwood quite a bit earlier. I am SO looking forward to that one. And I only thought it needed a very few fixes (the wrong English word used) and would be out soon.
