    some good news from a friend ..



    Glad Hemmingway's museum was spared during the hurricane 

    and all 55 kitties accounted for as are the people who stayed behind to care for them.
      

    Give them a gold star.  Compassion is not dead.

    I only stop by once in while to see what's going on but I had to say how glad I am to see this. We haven't been down there in a couple of years but I love the Keys, especially Hemingway's house. Half of the cats are six toed and I'll bet it took all 24 toes to keep them anchored. I'm going to have a Margarita to celebrate.

    on CNN they interviewed the gentleman in charge of Hemingway's home and wee cats prior to the arrival of Irma..

     I prayed my little heart out that all would be safe ...


    Am so pleased that my friend sent the above so I could share with you ...
