You just missed her... in fact she's probably still about... was all set to do them herself tonight, but something went wrong.
Just as well we have you to look after us! We're an unruly bunch!
Was a pain at the doctor's and now I have to keep a food diary and BSLs for every time I eat! Huh! And all he keeps saying is the meds are dangerous, and I wouldn't like taking insulin... and other obvious stuff - I felt very "take two aspirin and see me in the morning"ed.
Looks like a quiet day was had in my absence

We could use a little boiling sun here! Starting to really feel the winter bite these last few days.
No, the useless doctor didn't give me a diary, but I have the spreadsheet from when I was first diagnosed, and it is set out to do all sorts of fancy things like averages and graphs and the fun stuff that will make it worth the effort.
I can do the blood. As I have had the diabetes for a while, just that now I am considered insulin-dependent. Or at least I would be, if someone would just prescribe the damn stuff and get it over with!
Oh well, truth is, a month is like nothing to me, it disappears in a heartbeat and I'll be grumbling about how it feels like I have only just been here, when I see him next...

I am still happy to grab a snatchling or to rescue and release a short lifer, but yes, the object of my new endeavours is to start filling the gaps in my collection.
There are specific dragons I need for the stories. And then I want an army of Reds for incubation, and there are some ones I just love, like the nebulas - who could resist them?
But Wyverns all interest me, I particularly love the Hellhorses and Hellfires and one of the first I ever caught - the Bright-breasteds. So want a lot of them. But my absolute favourites so far are the Golden Wyverns! They're so beautiful!
And I love the Avatars because they are so dramatic and they are so unpredictable in the breeding! Am really looking forward to never knowing what I might get!

He was actually the Registrar (he says that means apprentice) to the Consulting Physician - who apparently makes a specialty of finding the correct balance of meds etc. I was sent to him so my doctor could get advice on what doses of insulin to prescribe. So now both of us have to wait another month for answers. If "somebody" had simply told me upfront, keep this much detailed information on my BSLs, I would have happily have had it there for him today! Idiots!
And yes, we have a similar set up with our doctor's offices here...
