Ah! Trading, yes, that's what made me a powerhouse in Neopets in my day. It's all about careful husbanding of resources lol (and in my case, setting up franchises lol).
Well, no doubt we'll behorse dragon trading in no time at all... if I can just survive the frustration of the first 50 or so! 
I've been up almost 24 hours now, and I still don't want to go to bed. Turns out I'm as bad as orphaned after all, just a delayed reaction !!

It's not as bad as it first appears really. It's just a case of how hard do you want to make it... Frodo's the expert, but, I had a good look too.
The actual process is just a couple of clicks. The issue is deciding what to mate with who. That's where it gets complicated - but still only if you let it. Some dragons can only be bred, so if you want one for yourself, you will want to get the breeding pair in.
I want a ultraviolet, so I need to get a SpitFire (got it), and a Purple - still to be obtained. Then I do the click thing in the scroll and done! Instant Ultraviolet! At least, that's the theory

Riddick, it's very straight forward, to breed your dragons.
When you have 2 adults, and a free slot, and you want to breed, I can talk you through it.
And little Nepidae is happily splashing around in the ocean
