Re: typical American hamburger
Well, on my burgers I generally like ketchup, pickles and mayo. I don't usually put cheese on them either, though my husband does.
As far as the meat, I don't add any fillers, just salt and pepper... and preferably grilled.
YUM!

Re: typical American hamburger
I'm a bad person to ask because I'm a vegetarian... and I can't eat gluten (no bread!) so I can't eat the hamburger alternatives, either! :(

I eat very little meat in general white and every 2 months, only 1 time I'd eat one of these sandwiches appearance is good,
Also here are the chain stores Mc but does not inspire me a lot.
for the gluten, now found everywhere in supermarkets, intollerenza has become very common, I think because too much processed foods.

Portobello(a?) mushroom 'burgers', yum!!! The huge mushroom caps sauteed in a little balsamic vinegar and served with tomato, avocado and brie over a smear of good mustard.
For commercial veggie burgers I like Boca's Savory Mushroom Mozzarella and their Spicy Chik'n, which comes in a non-GMO soy version.
