The base cost of all Class Two herb seeds have been halved:
• Purple Flower Seed base cost reduced to 6 (was 12).
• Silvertongue Seed base cost reduced to 25 (was 50).
• Yellow Crumb Flower Seed base cost reduced to 33 (was 66).

TINCTURES
The return on making tinctures, comparing the value of inputs (ingredients and energy) vs outputs, used to be 0% — there was just no profit in it! Tincture prices have now increased to bring the return to 25%.

POTIONS
The return on making potions used to be around -10% (ie. the potions would be worth 10% less than the ingredients and energy that went into making them). Potion recipes have been updated to make potionmaking profitable, to an average return of about 25%.

I made all the new PM3 potions easily. I like that they have made the recipes less complicated. I will probably try each of the potions but they are not something I expect to use beyond that. I already have thousands of crops and herbs and am constantly planting them. I am in no hurry and I do not use the Auctions or markets. I think, though, that those who enjoy sales will make some good currants by making and selling these now that the cost is down and the profit is up.
