No proper review on this since it's been a long time since I played it, but I remember a few things very well. First is that the graphics are very nice. I found the fact that Joan kept leaving her husband behind as she forged ahead amusing Joan Jade and the Gates of Xibabla 3286387481

The gameplay is formulaic, with a certain amount of adventure, hidden objects, then puzzle, and repeat, but still, it was a fun and interesting game to play.

There is some great humor involved, too. For example: Joan, our main character, has just chopped up a big, fibrous tree root, and her comment afterward is, "I'm a lumberjack, and I'm OK."

Ahahahaha! It was worth buying the game just for the sudden unexpected giggle!
