Post by Esme Sun May 18, 2014 9:35 am

Okay, I'm getting ready to begin my quest to, once again, save the clueless family from their own certain doom. Why? Because I'm suggestable and foolish I suppose. I can't wait to see what bizarro new depths this series will sink to; it's much like the Titanic that way.

The description already has me scratching my head and befuddled. I'm going to assume this is the same dim-witted nephew that I've saved in at least two other games. Someone needs to put a leash or a microchip or at the very least a warning sign on this boy. He's a danger to himself and others. It's a good think he's not a were-thingamabob like his father-- the were-creatures would eat him out of embarrassment.  Embarrassed I can just imagine them, "Nope, nope, he's not one of us. Haven't seen him. Nope... " *shifty eyes*

I'm taking a deep breath and getting ready to wade in. It'll be fun to have you guys play along or just follow along if you want to avoid the insanity personally; just be warned, I'll be posting about game content, so there will be spoilers aplenty!

I didn't even get a minute into this game without wanting to bang my head against something. Seriously... I haven't even entered my NAME yet!

She gets called to a meeting that seems odd to her... it's at the very EDGE of a cliff, so she stands there with her back to the area of approach?

    Yup. Same clueless family. Oy.

    Aunt Grey?

Didn't my stupid sister marry into the Grey family? Which is now mysteriously the McGrey family? McGrey??? Sounds like a dollar menu item in hell.

I'm going to play this bad boy on Casual so as not to miss a single unnecessary sparkle or clueless clue.  WOOOT!!

They gave. James. A gun. ???????

    Stupid. Stupid. Stupid.

And, one might want to use a dog whistle and not a police whistle when working with dogs. (Though there are probably dog trainers who can do so, I don't have enough faith in James' abilities to manage it.)

    Just a thought.

ETA: They later changed it to an actual dog whistle. LOL!

Okay, it's finally reached one of my pet peeves. I knew it wouldn't take long.

How the hell old is Elizabeth supposed to be? She's a grown woman according to the drawings and "plot" but her room is comprised entirely of teddy bears, dolls, angels, lace, ruffles, and all the other trappings of a serious case of delayed adulthood. Why do the female characters suffer from this malady so often? There is nothing about this character that says "woman". Sure you can like those things as an adult, but sheesh. The only "adult" female artifacts I see in her bedroom are things like high heeled shoes and makeup. UGH! All that room needs is a unicorn!

And one other thought... doesn't it seem legally "sketchy" to have dear Aunt Grey working for both the prosecution AND the defense? Don't you think Auntie Dearest might have some bias in this case? Or is this something about which I shouldn't worry my pretty little head, and get back to the dolls and lace in Elizabeth's room?

Well,  the judge did tell her she was just there as a professional.....um....toucher of objects
and being able to "see" what happened,  not to make her own conclusions.   ( I have yet
to see this kind of evidence used in a TV court of law.....but I digress).
Then she presents the evidence she's discovered from the past from touching the
objects that took her to the spot where this bad thing happened to the court.   Huh?
How does Auntie bring this evidence with her from the "other side"?  Or wherever
    her brain goes?

What part are you up too?   I have passed the part where Auntie has to present evidence
and the judge's face is not a happy one.

Of Course,  James who is not Brandon but is a McGrey whose parent's  picture looks just like
Brandon Grey's,  Stars   is denying everything......I love when someone says:   "This does not belong
to me!!"   So why are you wearing it?   Rolling Eyes

OK...according to the black bar,  we have Gray's,  McGray's and Maxwells.  That is the family
    tree,  so far.

Don't forget the morphing objects and your little statues.

Oh....someone just popped up on the "this one should be considered a prime suspect".

Here is my theory,  of course it could change.

    spoiler:

    OK. back to game.

Luvto, I'm sure that's part of it. My guess is there are some long-lost relatives involved or something. Or an ill-conceived marriage plan... or something.

    But for now, two words:

dj--this one was actually easy to do---I just needed to get sleep,  hit Reset when I went
back in,  and  it was made in 3 easy steps!!

But I do agree--they need to come up with some new things to do.

I really am enjoying this game,   so much more fun with esme's rants!   She notices things
