Ew...not a fan of Jessica's new format. It's too long & I'd prefer to click through all the i-games and Android games. My mind tends to wander when I'm not interested in something.  Laugh

Agreed, djrum.  I got bored after about 10 seconds and stopped watching.  Welp, there's one more thing I used to enjoy and look forward to, down the tubes.  Why, why, why????

Another Haunted Hotel already? It seems like I just played the last one. I would assume this is part of the series? And Elephant is the developer, again. If so, I hope it's better than the last one.

    "Abraham Shadowy", really?????
I'm cracking up over here.  Snicker

Actually, have played the beta, and if you didn't like the first Elephant one, I think you probably won't like this either.

I loved the other one, and do not think this one is as good.

    Darn!

The first HH I bought was HH: Charles Dexter Ward & I thought it was a very good game with a truly dark storyline. It scared me, I kept thinking something was sneaking up behind me.
And I'd have to look over my shoulder to make sure there was nothing there.

I said back in the old D&E thread, the first time these devs get it right with an awesomely scary game, they sell out to another dev.
    Oh well...

"Abraham Shadowy"    really?  How many bottles of beer caused them to come up with that
    name?   Drinking buddy  Snicker

I agree with you,  dj,   thoroughly enjoyed HH:CDW,  but the last one I just found
really annoying and just could not finish the demo.

Will maybe give this next one a try.

I will be getting the next Awakening,  as I have done the others and feel the need
to see if they will end it with this one.

Good Morning   JTF!   Sunny      He just annoyed me cause it seems like he  took all the credit
while I did all the work!!    He sends you into the house with the monsters while he has a look
    outside!!
Honestly,  I never got past the demo as he annoyed me and the "demons"  just stand around
waiting for you to do a bunch of nonsense so you can destroy them.

It just brought out the    pfft   in me.    But seeing the rave reviews,  I was in the minority.
    I don't mind.     flutter eyelashes

lol true enough lol Guess I don't mind my men helpless if they're pretty lol  OH!

Well, from what I've seen of this one - and I haven't played all 90 mins of it, I admit - he is, sweet though he may be, going to be even more useless this time. All he does is pop up every now and then with a piece of an amulet or something lol.

AND the bad guy got us there for the sole purpose of getting his hands on James, so I can see a rescue in the offing!

lol, luvtoread & JustTheFacts!! Yeah, what is it with these detectives who just stand around barking out orders? IIRC, I thought James kind of looked like Dupin.

Thank goodness, Dupin is so handsome to look at, I really don't mind detecting things with him.  flutter eyelashes
And he is helping more than he used to. I have the newest Dark Tales, but haven't played it yet.

So, is the new demo time 90 minutes? I know we had 90 with the Haunted Manor game & was wondering if this is the new norm.
