Becky Brogan The Mystery of Meane Manor (HOG)
This is the first Becky Brogan game

Options: Music, Sound, Full-screen and In-game Help (tutorial) I played with the tutorial OFF.

The story is told via comic-book style pages, and there is an option to SKIP.

There are two cats in each scene, and finding them will give you extra
hints. To use hints, click on the item you want to find, then on the
locket for your HINT, which will show you the outline of the item you're
looking for, plus the locket screen will show you whether you're "hot"
or "cold" (will turn green and shake when your cursor is near the
object, red when you're nowhere near it).

To the left of the hidden objects list are three buttons - Menu, List
and Pause. Clicking on the List button will take you to your Inventory
(and clicking on Inventory will take you back to the list of items to
    find).

The random-click penalty is funny... it popped up and said, "You're making Becky nervous!" lol~

Gameplay. Well... it is what it is - an older straight HOG. The HOG
scenes aren't exactly "junk pile", they're more... nerve-wrackingly
    cluttered. *shudder*

The "music" is a plethora of creepy noises, very environmental. I turned
off the sound effects 'cause they were annoying me :P

I wanted to like this game. I really did! I stuck with it, though the
HOG scenes weren't exactly the style I enjoy, for I have heard that it's
a nice spooky story, which I'm in the mood for right now. I actually
started to enjoy the game and not minding the way the scenes were laid
out. Alas, 30 minutes into the demo, the scenes started repeating.
    Nuuuuu~

I bailed. If you like stories in games, you might like to try this and
see how it goes. If not... well, I don't think this game is for you.
