    Colourful. Comfortable. Carnivale Of Crime.

Coming back to this game after a year, and finding my review from back then, nothing much has changed except our expectations in terms of graphics. These graphics were really delightful a year ago, and now I gotta say, well, they are pretty low definition.

The gameplay is still relatively easy, particularly the signature mini-game where you analyse the contents of substances. But it’s all fun, bright, colourful and cheery. There are no voiceovers, but some dialogue that is helpful.

There’s a journal in the PCI Field Kit that is recorded in an unusual way, and a next too useless map. Otherwise, you’re pretty much on your own; the hint button does just that – hints – and not very helpfully.

Still a game I’ve enjoyed playing many times.

    I recommend this game!
