So,  I am up at 5 a.m.  I go to BF,  see the new Christmas Puss-n-Boots game out,
didn't even demo it,  I used the SAVE coupon from yesterday, and it still works.    Happy bounce

About the one good thing about being up so early.

Now I hope  we like the game.  Laugh

I finished Ravenhurst Unkeyed,  Unglued and Undone.    I did like it,  I have yet to
    finish the Bonus.
Now we know why Emma was so important to Charles.

I am tackling Lost Lands:  The Golden Curse.   I am so stuck right now.
I am doing some type of HO right now-where you have to find objects and put
them to use on some object.
Anyway,   I have two pieces of a medallion and no place that they go-at least as
    far as I can find.

Oh well, will deal with it later.   Time to get ready to go to work.

I bought the new Christmas Stories, too!

I've finally finished Ravenhearst Unlocked and although I liked it more than Key to Ravenhearst, it still wasn't creepy enough for me.
I do think Eipix did a wonderful job with the double MCFs. Big smile

I'm still mesmerized by Jewel Match: Snowscapes.

I have finished Christmas Stories: Puss-n-Boots. Sugary sweetness all over the place! I think I'll have to play a D&E game to get back on track. Laugh

I've started Dark Parables: Goldilocks and the cut-scene graphics are a bit rough around the edges. I'm not sure why Eipix would design this game like that. OH!

I'm waiting on Spirit of Revenge: Gem Fury due out Saturday.

Well,  plowing through Puss in Boots.   Not anywhere near as good as the first 2.
This is coming from someone who likes Antonio Bandaras  (what is not to like).
They should have used him for this game.

The premise as to why Christmas has to be cancelled is dumb, (not referring to
why we find out later Puss is determined to stop it.  I am thinking about the
object that was stolen to stop Christmas.  Makes no sense to me).  Santa looks like a
drunk,    and some of the things you have to do are just...dumb.
Heat up Juliette?   What does he do when I am not there??

I admit I do like the little kitten with the huge glasses which enhance his green eyes.

I am going to try out Gunspell,  the match 3 genki recommends.

It somewhat reminds me of Runespell,  but not as challenging.

I have also been playing Witches Prank:  Frogs Fortune that I bought ages ago.
It is a lot of fun and some of the puzzles are slightly challenging.

I started the new Spirit of Revenge: Gem Fury game. Let's see what we have here...

Miners under the control of a corrupt boss and the mayor... they keep disappearing. Mysterious crap. Lights. Lots of keys. Blah Blah.

What's that you say? It sounds familiar?

Whispered Secrets: Golden Silence from AUGUST featured miners who disappeared mysteriously while under the control of a corrupt boss and the mayor. Lights. Mysterious crap. Lots of keys...

Maybe the devs should ask Santa for a new idea for Christmas.  Santa Dance Never gonna happen though. I think they've been naughty.

That one didn't grab me either.
    Whispered Secrets was better.
So,    I am tackling an Adventure game.   I have been sadly neglecting them and
    I want to remedy that.
Also,  with all the CE sales,  I have a bunch of punch cards that I really need to
find games to use them on.

Oh, nice!  I still need to play that one.  I started it once, but it was lagging, so I uninstalled it.  I've had an upgrade to my computer since then, so I need to try it again~

I just finished Tales from the Borderlands, and am working on Life is Strange.

I'm afraid I'll have to un/reinstall DP: Goldilocks. All of a sudden, it wouldn't open anymore. Rolling Eyes

On account of that PITA, I've started Spirit of Revenge: Gem Fury and totally enjoying it! Big smile

Yesterday's game, The Last Dream was a little weird so I think I'll use a PCC for it. The developer is the same team who did the earlier HH games and my favorite HH - Charles Dexter Ward.

I demo'd Phantasmat: Behind the Mask and liked it, too, just waiting on the weekend sale.

I've got a Nancy Drew game, but the thought of tackling a LFA game (right now) tires me. Maybe after the holidays, I'll be brave enough to install it.

    Hi everyone, and Merry Christmas.

Sorry I haven't been around much. Life has gotten complicated. Had some surgery before Christmas (no worries, I'm fine) and then we lost our girl dog, Penny, on Christmas morning. Needless to say, I haven't been playing many games. Ugh.

I hope you are all well and happy and had a great few weeks. I will be back eventually when life settles down a bit.

Big hugs to all of you and I hope you got lots of great games lined up to play!  Tree Lights Present Christmas wreath

Thanks Luvto. It's been a rough couple of weeks. We ended up rescuing another dog because my husband is a big softie.

    Meet Pippa.

She's not healthy yet, but we're working on getting her there.

Also, if anyone is interested, I posted a link in the Beta thread for the new Dead Reckoning game. I'm not sure if I've played any in that series, but what the heck? Enjoy if you want it! Big smile

She's 100% Shar Pei. They used her for breeding. I hate people sometimes, but she's with us now and she's going to have a good life. She and Finch are getting along pretty well.

The Dead Reckoning beta was pretty fun. I'll probably get it. I like the series.

Right now I'm finally starting Ravenhearst Unlocked. It's starting out with a decent creep factor, but I assume that will fizzle out at some point. So far though, I'm enjoying it.

I hope you all had a great new year. I, for one, am glad to be rid of 2015. This year has got to be an improvement, right?  Big smile

Still working my way through Ravenhearst Unlocked. I'm enjoying it. The mask puzzle..my goodness. It was hard enough WITH the strategy guide! (Honestly, for me, following the solution from the SG is almost as difficult as just figuring out the puzzle.)

I'm still off work recovering and it's driving me batty, but the dogs are fun and keeping me entertained.

I hope you are all well and having a great new year! Say hi if you're lurking... I'm lonely.  Cry

Hello everyone.   Its been quite quiet in here.    So....here I am to make some noise--more
like a squeak   Mouse Shades .

esme-are you feeling better?  How is the weather where you are?   Winter is finally coming
here to Upstate NY.    Looks like we might actually get some snow this weekend.   We got
hit with a snow squall last week.   Of course,  it happened twice.  In the a.m. while out
picking up the kids and in the noon,  while trying to bring them home.
    Made driving quite adventerous.

I am playing Parallels Cross.   It is quite the brain testing game.   No HO's,   more like
a light Adventure type game.    I am stuck trying to figure out why my alignment of the
signs is not in agreement with the game.

I also started  Final Cut:  Fade to Black.    I actually am enjoying it.   I have played a
few games that I liked,  which is nice.

If I ever get a chance to give the devs my opinion,  the one thing I would like for
them to change in the games is the predictable outcome.
Having your character do all this stuff just to have the bad person come in to take
away the important  object and knock you out is ridiculous.
Especially when "you"   should not have gotten the object which has been safely
hidden away to begin with.  Rolling Eyes

Hope to hear from everyone soon.   It is getting lonely     Dark & Eerie Games Thread - Page 4 7917806-tricolor-australian-shepherd-aussie-puppy-looking-out-a-window

It has been pretty quiet, hasn't it? I hope everyone is okay.

I'm starting to feel better, thanks. I'm scheduled to go back to work on Feb. 1st. That will be good. It's been a long, slow recovery.

We haven't had much snow this year, though lately it has been record-breaking cold, so we have that going for us.  Yeah right  Cry Good thing this was the year I splurged and bought an electric blanket. I've been using it, though I also have a 70 pound boxer dog/blanket that plops on me when I'm asleep and keeps me warm (and immobile). Not sure what it is about boxers but they have to be touching you AT ALL TIMES!  Like a giant, furry barnacle. But I love it.

I finished the main game of Unlocked and liked it, but you know, I kind of miss the old, sassy Master Detective. The gender neutral Master Detective. The Master Detective that always wore a trench coat and gloves. I liked that Master Detective was a smartass. I totally identify with being a smartass. I know things can't stay the same, but darn it, I want them to some times!

How are things with you, Luvto? Read anything good? I just finished "Furiously Happy" by Jenny Lawson and am almost done with "The Serpent of Venice" by Christopher Moore.

Anyone else lurking? Say Hi! I miss you all!  Cry
