True Story:
Last year a snake somehow got into the office... which I found out when my extremely-phobic-of-snakes boss started screaming over and over again. "Oh my god... Oh my god... Oh my god!!"
Me: *quizzically* "Sarah, what are you doing?"
Sarah: "Snake, a snake, there's a snake right there!"
Me: "Snake?" *looks, sees garden snake, turns back* "Sarah, seriously, it's just a little one."
She wasn't buying it, so I calmly went over to try and catch it... but it was REALLY angry, and really fast. Silly thing was striking at me and trying to get away... So I did the obvious. I squatted just enough that my floor-length skirt covered it up and thrust it into darkness. (Yes, it was now under my skirt.)
Co-worker: "Oh my god, what are you doing? It's going to crawl up your leg."
*Slightly exasperated* "No it's not, I'm just calming it down," I said as I crouched, flipped the skirt off of the snake, and picked it up easily.
I took it outside and released it in some bushes, came back inside, washed my hands, and got back to work as if nothing had happened.
Sarah on the other hand was afraid to leave the office that night
There's a video of this whole encounter somewhere, if my co-worker still has it, but it was really bad quality :p
