I'm juggling about 5 concepts already , breeding and dealing in prep for Valentine season, helping Peter, taking care of a thread the woman who lost her baby (dragon), and uploading my own spreadsheets, but yeah, I am clearly just plain lazy.
Yes, very Hobbity!! Will mention to Jay. And yes, warm and wise eyes. might mention that too! A travelling storytelling dragon should have eyes like that.

while wandering in the Dragon Cave
came across a lovely word to describe our wee dragons still in the egg
incubates
perfect and says it all
so we have us... dragoneers ...
snatchlings (those hatchlings acquired from the abandoned cave) ...
and now .... incubates.
really appeals to the kleptomeggiac in me

Wow! Cool name! Halfway between what some breeders called incuhatchable, which stinks as a way to describe pretty little babies headbutting their shells, and the tiny little fellow we get to care for. You'll get Justie's job if you are not careful! All that sneaking around the cave, hearing a rumour here, a clandestine conversation over there. The Super Sleuth will go straight! Don't do it orphaned! It's a trap!orphaned wrote:while wandering in the Dragon Cave

PS. the pix are so good!! Not too sure how safe I'll feel around babies now though

whenever I click on the wrong egg or otherwise screw up
I remember when the three of us first started here
and am again convulsed with laughter at the ensuing panic
my favourite email EVER !!!
I'm toast.
I thought I was supposed to click on the egg.
So I did.
Then I got a message that I stole it.
So I clicked on the other one
to see what I did wrong
and got the same message.
why is this so funny ???
when we first started at the Dragon Cave
it was primarily (at first) to help JustTheFacts keep her dragon eggs alive
collecting dragons for ourselves followed later
at the time we did not know that you cannot steal from another's scroll
from whence all the fun (for me especially) ensued ...
it was believed that eggs had been stolen from Justy's scroll
hence the email ...
Justy is a formidable presence at the best of times ..
and if such a theft occurred ... well, I was NOT going to tell her
after a few more frantic emails .. . laced with laughter on my part ... and some fear
it was determined that all was well with no scroll losses
only eggs from the Abandoned Cave had been acquired ...
even now ... I still howwwwwwwwl with laughter

wish that Lion could find her way back in ...
she is truly missed
and find her way back to her scroll and beloved dragons
they are all safe and healthy, having just checked on them
