    This is the only game of this series that I have played, but I was sort of underwhelmed by it. Is the first one, The Hookman, any better?  Dunno

    I don't know, I haven't played this one yet, so I can't compare them!  I did really enjoy The Hookman, though.  I have this one -- got the first two in a bundle -- so I'll play it at some point Big smile

    Yup this game is longer than Hookman (a plus) AND annoying to boot (a negative).

    Played Hookman with DH and it was pretty fun, but this game lost him with all the chores and tasks - making hot cocoa for the girls and collecting escaped pet geckos (over and over)? Ooh, creepy! LOL, I admit I still enjoyed it but the cheese was definitely piled sky-high in this second installment.
