just got the coolest email which said in part ....

She was reading to me from a calendar she has that is from the Old Farmers' Almanac.
It said that the full moon that's coming up on Sunday is called the Wolf Moon!
Of course, it didn't say why it's called that, but I thought it was pretty cool. Just a little trivia for you.

Your post made me curious so I looked it up. I did not know that the Native Americans named
the moons. It is interesting. For January:

This full Moon appeared when wolves howled in hunger outside the villages.
