there is something about this time of year
and especially now .. as am alone
thoughts go winging back to earlier times
and with country music easing my mind and soul
this came popping back to my mind
as mentioned before .. I worked for criminal (yes they were ..LOL!!) lawyers

unbeknownst to any of us at the firm >>>> all our phone calls were being recorded in hopes of an early recapture
EVEN OUR HOME PHONES !!!!!
as you may have noticed, I can be a silly bugger at times
and raunchy was routine amongst certain friends ..
had the joy of dating a cop .... hmmm should look that lovely man up ...
one day he came to the office and whispered that as phones at home were being monitored , I may want to tone it down a LOT !!!
after I stopped being outraged then embarrassed and wondering what the hell had been said ..
thought >> you want to listen ....... hehehehehe
so, every night night before bed I would search out the strangest radio station out there
NOTE: in those days >> if you did not hang up, the connection remained open until one or other terminated it!!!
the phone was placed against the speakers and I would trundle off to be LMAO !!!!!!
the best station ever >>>>>> a radio station from the southern United States
religious programmes were everywhere .. and some were quite loud and ... well, to my ears, outlandish
it is from one of these that I heard the best line ever .... God's truth

so if the RCMP had not been bugging my phone >> would have missed out !!!
oh, and boyfriend came to see me again ..
cops were slightly amused at my shenanigans ... and to KNOCK IT OFF!! LOL!!
how could that be OBSTRUCTION OF JUSTICE !!! ??????
