It's just so DUMB! I love it! The joker puppet is both creepy and hilarious. The bad guy looks too much like Uncle Fester to be taken seriously.  Gah!

And trying to give Romeo and Juliet, one of the greatest tragedies of all time, a happy ending is absolutely bat-crap crazy.

I imagine in the sequel we will have to make Pip and Estella from Great Expectations live happily ever after and Miss Havisham will marry the convict and finally get to use that wedding dress.  Wub  Wub  Wub

I remember Death Pages.   Never met a librarian like him--thank goodness.    It would force
me to go out and buy all those books I want to read.    booklover
    I'd be bankrupt.   OH!
What I don't remember is why he wanted those kids to recreate Shakespeare?
esme-  You need to change that ending so that Romeo and Juliet could grow up and become
curmudgeonly like us and think   "I was going to kill myself over that nonsense?"   pfft

Some guy named Tybalt has a cat bracelet?    Black cat

dj--before cell phones,  women were doing their makeup while driving.   flutter eyelashes
Has anyone ever watched the show Bones?   The way Booth drives makes me
nuts.    He spends more time looking at Bones than he does on the road.

I am happy for 2 reasons:    The CE sale and the new MOTW: Of Fiends and Faeries.

I have it dl/d now and if I really like it, will buy it with the new Awakened game.

Yep. A cat bracelet. Tybalt is called "The Prince of Cats" by Mercutio... to mock him, but also because he seems to have nine lives and likes to toy with his opponents before finishing them off, like a cat and mouse.   Mouse pbbt

He is also a hot-head and ONE OF THE MAIN CAPULETS IN THE PLAY! He says, "I hate hell, all Montagues, and thee!" at one point, which is why it make no sense for him to have a Montague shield hidden in his cat bracelet. (Well, one of the reasons anyway)

If I sound like a woman who just gave a final exam on Romeo and Juliet to 125 high school freshmen... there's probably a good reason for that.  Hmm...

I did Shakespeare electives all the way through to my Final Year in my Bachelor of English Literature, and you know the one play I have never seen, read or studied is Romeo and Juliet! I was more of a Henry IV & Hamlet kind of girl...

    Oh Gawd!

Imagine what they'd do to Hamlet?? He and Ophelia would be traipsing through a field of daisies or something.  Belly laugh

And, well, you know'll no what they do to Hamlet's... no I'll let you find that one on your own. But my favourite play does get a cameo moment.  Embarrassed

Now if they'd done Macbeth... they could have totally revolutionised Macbeth and left Roman Polanski in the dust... what were they thinking? Their wacky world view was made for Macbeth and ITS wacky world view!!

I don't remember the guillotine scene Romeo and Juliet. I must have a defective copy or something.  Rolling Eyes

Evil Grin esme YOU ROCK!!  Evil Grin

It was hilarious though - my biggest issue was what was that bitey book up to? Don't remember any bitey books in Shakespeare... didn't seem to want anything except to be a bitey book...

    WTF? Overreaction

I'm sensing a bad case of "not giving a rat's you-know-what" on the part of the developers at this point. I'm on my THIRD canine that needs to be distracted. Two dogs and a wolf....

Seriously. Is that the best you can do, EG?

The name is "Death Pages: Ghost Library" and you can get it Big Fish Games - I am pretty sure that's the ONLY place you can get it.

It's a casual Hidden Object Puzzle Adventure!  Big smile

Sorry, no bitey book!  Cry Oscar Wilde! And how that connects to R&J, well, it's beyond me! But it made a hash of another of my all-time favourites!

You still get to Verona through the bitety book. Yay!

    Now........

Let me get this straight, game.

I won't pick up pieces of a broken vase because I don't want to cut my delicate paws, but I will pick up the mirror shard right next to it?

     Yeah right

Did I just pull Excalibur out of a rock in Verona to give to Romeo who is held captive by a viscous ivy bush in "The Portrait of Dorian Grey"???

    I call shenanigans.  Yeah right

Apparently I'm the King of England now.

    How'd you become king, then?

The Lady of the Lake, her arm clad in the purest shimmering samite held aloft Excalibur from the bosom of the water, signifying by divine providence that I, Esme, was to carry Excalibur. THAT is why I am your king.

Or. I pulled a cheap-ass Excalibur wanna-be out of a rock, but it's okay. I gave it to some dimwit who's trapped in an ivy bush.
