    Here's the official spiel:

    Special Promo: Spring Insomnia Promo
Jack is Life! Jack is Love! The Keaning is happening!

Most sales are just that: some nice deals, tons of games, some flowery marketing talk about those deals. Nothing more, nothing less. As you know, last year we ran our Fall Insomnia Promo with the usual expectations that follow a typical sale.

The Insomnia Promo was different. Very, very different. It morphed into something beyond our wildest expectations. Entire communities were staying awake for this sale. The RPG Codex was busily snapping up and all classic RPGs. 4chan's very own /v/ put aside their usual bickering about which console was best and started trying to find The Pattern (sorry guys, you didn't crack it :^) ). Meanwhile, Jack Keane acquired a cult following (JACK IS LOVE! JACK IS LIFE!) all the while collecting a flurry of 5 star reviews where gamers documented all sorts of miraculous manifestations of Jack's blessing in their lives. Lastly, the Insomnia promo garnered its own entry on our wishlist.

Welcome to our Spring Insomnia Sale! Back by popular demand*, we will be putting up 100 games in limited quantities** with discounts up to 90%. We'll have more games for sale than Noah had animals in his ark. Indies. Classics. Classic indies, even. All kinds of games for all kinds of gamers. However, you have to be fast, faster than those Polish script kiddies*** lurking outside our offices so they can get 0.1 ms of ping!

We did change things up a bit this year. While checking out, keep an eye peeled for a random chance to get a free game. Yes, this time there will be no more split second freebies so everyone has an equal chance Smile

*why would you do this to yourselves, you mad fools?!?!
**yes, we know that all games are being distributed digitally and quantities can be infinite, just roll with it, ok?
***it was a common theory that all the free games were being snatched up by Polish hackers. We don't have any hackers here in Poland, we deported them all...somewhere...

Helean, congrats on getting Broken Age.  You'll need to let us know how good it is, once you've played it for a while.  Smile
I haven't got any free games from the sale, either.

Genki, wow, lucky you!  Hope you enjoy it.   Happy bounce

Well, I don't play shooters, so if GOG will let me gift it, I'll give it to someone who actually wants it Big smile

FYI, you have ONE chance to get your game gifted to you for each game (per round).  If you don't get it for free the first time you hit Buy now, trying again on that same game won't help.

Thanks Frodo! I sure hope that you can get it too(  YES, even for free, I will be envious, but why not...Smile

Yes it is weird! I asked "why I hadn't gotten any free games" on the  GOG forum and some little smart ass called me, "babe"..(how did he know I was female??) and that it was RNG ...what is THAT??? and to look on the gifting area, but it did not clear things up for me.....

(I saw Gomo, looks good but it sounded a lot like Samorist(have you played that?)
    What was Deadly Premonition?
    I got quite a few...
    Broken Age(sorry..)
two of the Little Big Adventures..
    King's Quest 4,5,6
    Quest for Glory 1-5
    the Inner World
    2 Sam and Max games
    Zork Anthology
    Still Life
    and Children of the Nile....
most of these were about $1.95 or so....
SOME of them VERY VERY old.... and completely unknown to me.
All adventure games except for the Children of the Nile which is a management/ sims type game...

    I am happy too!

Helean, yeah, I thought Gomo looked like Samorist as well, which is what attracted me to it.  Loved Samorist 1 & 2.   Big smile

Deadly Premonition is kinda a horror survival adventure, like Silent Hill (have you played that?  Hmm... )

You've done really well, in the sale.  A lot of those adventure games are really good - I think you'll enjoy them.   Smile

I missed the Zork Anthology, but I was on the fence about that one, anyway.   *shrugs*

But congrats for getting Broken Age.   Okay

Me too. loved both of them!
Oh I am not into survival or shooting games...but they look really good!
    I think so!
I am STILL plugging away at Tex Murphy Tesla though..lol  I was so stuck for many many days and finally got through..lol (there are NO walkthroughs as there are so many possible ways the story can go, depending on what answers one uses) so not sure when I will be trying any of the,  "New loot"...lol
I will let you know what I think about the Zork game!
    thanks!

Been busy with other things, so haven't been able to play much of it.  But really loving what I've seen so far.
I'm currently on the 'Somewhere I'll Find You' patch.
